All about me.  The clothes that I wear, the food that I eat the entertainment I crave.  Have I ever stopped for a moment and truly conceived of what grace goes into keeping me alive?  How valuable each breath, each thought, each moment I could have spent for God’s purposes.  I’m palsied, not by inaction, but by Wrong Action.  The things I crave, the things I must do for me are my impediments.  My self-spoiling behavior is what keeps me from the King.  Of all of the despicable actions that I have taken, being entirely consumed by what I want will always be the worst.  The absolute worst thing about all of it is when I get myself in trouble catering to my endless, self-service how I can justifiably call out the name of God for assistance.  I know that He will be there when I do, but man isn’t that the most grotesque way to use the Lord?  Will He ever be able to depend upon my words or my actions?  Or is He guaranteed in one thing, that I will always take the wrong action when the choice is between what I want and what He wants of me or for me?

Lord, I know that the answers to this issue are all painful.  Painful in seeing myself clearly each time that I cannot fill my endless desire to fulfill my wants.  Painful each time that I see the sin I have remaining internally that undermines my relationship with you and the things that I wish to accomplish in this life for Your Kingdom.  Painful when you discipline me, as You will, for going astray from You in my conceit and self worship.  Painful to those around me as I take from them to give to myself.  Painful in that seeing myself in truth is the only way to coming to You in contrition and begging You to remove this self-focused behavior.

I can barely look upon myself, seeing how selfish I remain although sometimes I feel that I have risen above.  Me and double me and then again me.  Teach me Father, it is obvious this is one I will not get by myself.  Left alone to my own direction and desires I am doomed to continuous, self-interest.  In panic I look around for Your face and all I behold is my own.  My thoughts, my lips and my hands are unclean.  Maybe some day I will be worthy of being in Your presence, but this is not that day.  Today, like many others I am saddened to say, I was not ready to meet the Lord in the air.  Praise Your Holy name, My God, My Savior, My Teacher, My Friend, My King.  I am reminded once again of the immeasurable gift of Your forgiveness for my sin and the price that You personally paid for my salvation.  I once again ask for mercy that I don’t deserve and grace that I should not possess and ask Your patience and understanding of my weakness.  Please grant me a day when I don’t think of myself but rather serve Your children, unselfishly, out of love for You.  In Jesus’ name.

I understand and respect those who continually ask me to turn down the volume or limit the passion in my preaching.  Please know this that I have prayed, meditated and considered your position and have never rejected it “right out” or ignored your arguments immediately.  Rather, I have carefully considered all your points and separated the salient from the trivial.  Then I took those realistic arguments to the Holy Spirit for testing as to spiritual origin and level of agreement with the Word and Truth.  Finally, I accept, respond to and actively adopt all direction I receive back from the Spirit of God.

It challenges many of you that the Lord’s Word or His prompting does not agree with your pleadings to revise the Word He has placed upon my heart.  I only serve one master and I love Him.  Therefore, although I respect the positions of many I care for I can only follow the guidance, orders or recommendations of my liege.  In fact, my flesh begs me to “get along” with everyone, to fit in and be harmonious with those in this world, but the Lord calls me to preach a message of repentance and His coming Kingdom which are wholly inconsistent with the world’s desires.  Secondly, the prompting He has given is getting more pronounced each day we come a bit closer to His return for His church and His wrath upon this disobedient world.  I wish that things were going to remain comfortable, peaceful and prosperous for every person on this planet, even those who call themselves my enemy.  However, the Lord’s Word clearly defines and accurately predicts with omniscient precision the events which will soon come upon all of us.  The urge to cry out and exalt His eternal message recently has begun waking me at night.  My heart knows that time is short.  The skeptic wants proof which I cannot provide for it is my faith that tells me these things are soon.

I love you and appreciate your discomfort.  None of us wants tribulation, even though most of us agree that the evidence demonstrates that the world is headed into it.  I pray that you take the words which I post to heart and test them against the Word and take them in prayer to the Holy Spirit.  Don’t believe me, believe Him.  Everything in my being tells me that this word is relevant, true and consistent with God’s message of salvation for those who believe in Christ and make themselves ready for His return.  Dismiss me if you find my pleas inconsistent.  Forget me if my word is found deceiving or false.  But if you believe and receive the message of truth then I urge you to ACT on behalf of God’s prompting in your life.  The time to perform will soon expire.  I pray that your pilot light is lit and soon turns to flame consuming you in service and lighting the way for those in your sphere that remain imprisoned in darkness.  Praise You Father,  in the name of Your Son Jesus.

Ashamed, never!  Take a righteous stance for what you believe and do not waver.  The objective is not personal achievement, emotional stimulation or crossed finish lines, but the persistence of undaunted faith.  Trends wither just flowers on a spring vine to Summer’s relentless ardor.  Attentions fade leaving a deeper yearning for love, their true master.  Ambitions falter when tested with loss of face or feast.  Belief in something true, an idea worth last breath, last dime or last effort to behold, defend or maintain.  That is the life of just pursuit, the treasure worth seeking the hope worth heraldry.  Christians serve an idea so robust that it transcends, confounds or worse blinds those who challenge its awesome logic and clarity.

I stand for the Kingdom, the honor and the glory of the coming Christ our King.  When I say our King I mean of everyone.  Not for those who have accepted Him and live His will, but for all who will realize on that faithful day, that He has always been King of All.  I resist mockery, deception and the wisdom or foolishness of men wishing to separate the innocent from their heritage.  I stand a free man who has pledged his life voluntarily in slavery to righteousness for all to see, ignore or support.  Our Jesus, His yoke is not heavy, He places no mighty burden upon the backs of pauper subjects.  He leads us through tribulation, darkness and despair and delivers on His promises of forgiveness, grace and immeasurable love.  He is my King.  This is my stand, my fight, my commitment, to serve the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob for all the days of this life and the next.  Till Glory brings me home, Jesus is my Lord.  Praise You Father.  Amen.

The times are upon us.  We wish that things would stay in a relative quiescent state, however the folds in God’s plan are becoming increasingly pressed.  I have included articles, videos, Bible prophecy references and commentary directing those few who come to this site toward a logical, if not faith conclusion that we should expect a move of God’s hand shortly.  All the characters are in place, all the circumstances indicative and even the metaphysical folks claim that the stars and planets are in alignment.  Look at the next article, couple that with the current state of Syria, Libya, Egypt, Jordan, Iran, Russia, Turkey, Lebanon, Yemen, Kenya, Somalia and Ethiopia.  The evidence is too stark for ignorance.  Take heed my friends and pray.  Jesus is coming soon, Amen.

What can we each give that we would call “first fruit”?  In the next one hundred days I challenge each person who may read these words to consider giving Christ their all.  For one hundred days, waking in the morning and before rolling out of bed, acknowledging God’s presence, authority and priority position as number one in each of our lives.  What would happen if one-hundred, or one-thousand or dare I mention one-hundred-thousand Christians were to suddenly make God first in each of the next one-hundred days?  Would there be an impact?  Fiddlesticks, it would be a tsunami wave spreading the power and joy of the gospel resounding in cascading waves circling this globe.

The Lord is asking us for a lifetime of this “first position” prioritization.  I am asking for that lifetime to begin with a commitment of one-hundred days.  What would you do?  How would you impact your local, regional, or global world?  What talents have lain dormant or have been allocated to serving other gods, idols or selfish desires?  If you were to give your best to the Lord for the next one-hundred days would you stop there?  Being just one man, I have seen that I can accomplish little on my own, but wholly surrendered to the Will of the Lord I can move mountains, walk through enemy fire and overcome obstacles with ease, success and victory.  Please join me in committing the next one-hundred days to serving the Lord with your best and giving the world what you have left.

Praise Jesus, come soon Lord we need you.  Oh how long will you wait Father?  How long will your enemies prosper and speak openly against Your Great Name?  Wickedness abounds.  Let not our hearts grow dim but let them be filled with joy surpassing worldly understanding.  Let us shine with a light that illuminates falsehood, spreads truth and gives life to all it touches.  I proudly proclaim the name of Jesus and humbly serve His Glory.

This puzzle of humanity is where my piece fits in the grand mosaic.  Unfolding riddles, stories told again and those yet to be written, featuring marvelous daughters, wonderful sons, landscapes, lawyers and legend.  Why were any of us chosen to be written into the manuscript at certain moments bringing with us answers, talents and voice to change the course of circumstance or to constructively weave our individual stitching into time?

My thoughts cry out in awestruck, joy.  I see delightful resemblance in every face, every smile, even in panicked emotion.  This world is my family, being alone amongst seven billion siblings, impossible.  Some will remember, others forget and a few volunteer.  A gauntlet of cherished gifts and freedom given to the undeserving with foreknowledge of becoming.

With great big crocodile tears at our every movement, I imagine the Eyes of God upon each of us.  Eyes beyond the sands, hills, valley and trees.  None of us less or more than any other, each one adorable and worth it.  A Father’s love for every child.  Their pain His suffering, their joy His delight, their toil His to use for good.  In all His glory, this light He gave for all to see.  Amen.

Why can’t I take back a word once it has been said?  What energy resides within a word that it can start wars, evoke peace, withstand history, transcend death, create eternal friendship and even provide a steady income?  How could something that is without cost come with such a price?  Why do tyrannical societies restrict and fear the words of peasants.  What is this power to elevate or condemn given to each man whether pauper, prince or saint?

The ability to use words is one of our likenesses to God in His infinite depth. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God., John 1:1.  If you want to know the will of God for your life and hope to receive true discernment meditate on this line of scripture every day for at least ten minutes.  Father, what does this mean, how can the word precede the beginning?  How can the Word be with God and also be God?  How can I use my words or my silence to bring glory to Your Name?  Teach me the power of words and their proper intention and use?  Make me a man of clean lips, I beg of you.  In Jesus’ name.

Two men who do not share our beliefs sitting in the most powerful seat in the world representing our country.  How has it come to this, in a self-pronounced Christian nation that we should have before us the choice between two pagan men as our leader?  Are we truly in slumber or comatose to our own desires?  Last time I checked the Lord’s prayer, which Jesus gave His disciples, commits each of us to accept His Will in Heaven and on Earth.  How can people even say these words if they A) Don’t believe them and B) Never intended on surrendering their own will to the Will of the Lord?  How can we stand by while men who have no faith in Jesus Christ are elevated to positions of authority over our lives?

Obama, obviously an unbeliever as evidenced by his stance on abortion, Islam, his obvious lack of humility and the atheists, God haters he surrounds himself with.  Romney, a subscriber to the false religion of Mormonism, commercialism, his obvious lack of humility and his repeated votes siding with homosexuality, greed and government domination of God’s people.  Rick Santorum is the only one of the bunch of characters with any allegiance to the Lord, any humility, any true character and yet he is dismissed as not being flashy enough to get our votes.

How did we get to this point?  The route is clearly traceable back to the day when we departed from obedience to the Lord and were turned over to our collective deviant minds as punishment for our sin.  The worse thing that God can ever do to one of His children is let that child alone to pursue their own desirous heart and wickedness.  A nation who goes astray of the Lord will be turned over to homosexuality.  If there is one person out there who does not see the viral, aggressive transformation of this beloved country into something that we don’t recognize please let him/her stand up, take their blindfold and ear plugs off and explain to us the true circumstances.

There is only one way back to stability, honor and national solidarity, that is to turn from our sin, cry out to God in humility and pray that He hears us from Heaven and heals the wounds we have masochistically inflicted upon this gift of a nation He gave us.  Praise Your Holiness, Righteousness and Truth, Father, in the name of Your one and only Son, Jesus Christ the Lord, Savior and Judge of mankind.

Does this world look as if you’ve imagined it?  Are the lilacs in bloom, crops bountiful in the field, a glint in every child’s eye and abundance in the store houses, enough to share with all who may be in need?  Does news of the day reflect your concept of social justice, coming collective enlightenment and hope in the opportunity provided to all, no matter their circumstance?  Is there mutual respect shared between government and its peoples as representatives seek the best course of action regardless of personal benefit or business impact?  Is there global unity or a promise of shared international commitment where all shall live in understanding and harmony?  Is the present environment truly depicted and honestly reflected in scripture could things possibly be that bad?

The Bible has yet to be wrong and it states emphatically without equivocation the things which will soon unfold.  If in fact you do not believe in the eschatology of Bible prophecy then your hopeful view of world unity solidifies your susceptibility to one of the greatest deceptions ever perpetrated upon mankind.

The antichrist will come claiming to be Messiah and fool all those hopeful hearts yearning for global unity.  Jesus even foretold that although He was not received when He came in the name of the Father that another will come in his own name and he will be received.  The world will rejoice as they welcome this character, thus allowing them to deny Jesus the True Lord of Lords and King of Kings.  They will feel justified in all their mockery, derision and historical wickedness.  The Bible depicts the antichrist as a rider on a white horse without any arrows in his quiver who will conquer many through “peace”.  This is such an unusual concept it should immediately arouse suspicion in the minds of all who believe themselves Christians.  This is how he will succeed in the deception, portraying himself as a peaceful, loving, savior who will disarm the world by fooling them into believing he is the predicted messiah.  He will perform miracles, evoking peaceful movements and binding many to agreements without justifiable reliance.  He will be the false image of an anointed character preaching freedom from the accountability to God’s Word, in fact proclaiming himself god.  He will blaspheme the One True God and those who may not be fooled into worshiping his effigy will be forced by penalty of cruelty, poverty and death.

This world is on the rim of the eternity’s precipice, teetering between righteousness and sin.  Rapture is a reasonable argument seeing this precarious wobble.  Losing the believing Christian population in an instant would plunge this delicately balanced civilization into the turmoil from which it is restrained by our indwelling Holy Spirit of God.  Absent that collective faithful population there will be no voice left to call the unholy to reason.  Praise be to God that even then He will send angelic and human messengers on a mission of grace to proclaim the coming Kingdom, the need for repentance and the offer of salvation.  All who call upon the name of Lord shall be saved.  What a mighty God we serve.  Be ready, be watchful, be filled with courage and love.  King Jesus awaits His bride.  Amen.

Speak up, speak out, march in indignant disagreement, throw tantrums aimed at bringing down the establishment, protect the right to freedom of religion, unless of course that religion involves a belief in Jesus Christ.  For this to happen in Boston is especially symbolic of the depths to which this once great nation is fallen.  Where is the public outcry of the masses, where are the marchers protecting the rights of those to whom this discrimination is being openly perpetrated?  It is not God who is dead but the fear of God.  We have lost all self-respect and the foundational beliefs which set us apart from other failed model republics.  This nation of citizens with mutual respect, practicing a voluntary adherence to decent morals and belief in the common good which rose above the foray to become something worth believing in has now blended into mediocrity.  Lord, forgive us for we have gone so far astray from Your righteousness that we can no longer measure the distance between us.

Judgment is not far for us if we do not have a drastic revision of our present course.  I pray for Your mercy on us, but I know that justice will be served as it must.  Praise Jesus.  You may smash our statues and burn our churches but you will never take the Lord’s love from our hearts nor His likeness from our faces.  We serve the One and Living God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.  The creator of all men and all things in this universe.  You cannot destroy Him by smashing a plaster representation in front of a place of worship for He lives right here inside each Christian.  And He will have His day where all mockery will receive its reward.  In this we can depend.  Amen.
