While walking down the line you painted for my shoe steps I found myself chastised when periodically stepping from the bright yellow intentions of your throttled freedom. I wanted so much to please you and feel the warmth of expectant love, but found this a paradigm outside emotional and logical self control. What then I found were moments of frustrated expectation and guarded performance as I struggled with my own self perception internal to guidance dictated by internal philosophies of choice and wonder.
The top of the ridge or edge of abyss carries natural risk and thus aversion or hunger. Do I lust to live upon the edges of the world or find myself circumspectly to the valley below? Perhaps, you would say that it is impossible to live unconscious at mountain top and therefore find it the preferred environment for those seeking the acuity of circumstance? Circum being the root of these two words we must investigate if similarities of intention and outcome ought be expected on the roads bread by walking the fine lines of life?
Can a man straddle both sides of precarious ridge and expect to reach destination and generally anticipate eventual deployment on coccyx? Perhaps, this is removal of the risk of peak and premise? What then of desiring a steady grip upon both sides of a horse? Does this defy risk mitigation found on wall, crest or elevation? Does a will to remain on both sides of peak or precipice create natural paralysis and mandated end to locution and journeys of the both mind and geography?
What then of service to chosen or enforced master? May a man remain free who is incapable through station or volition in choosing path or pursuit of pleasure and purpose? Must I choose to walk the line you’ve painted for me or be deemed rebel or revolutionary? Are there a set of acceptable behaviors or reflections of both society and individual that indicate a Sovereign or chaotic alignment? Is this chosen or imposed? Are there benefits found in risk mitigation through conscious choice of pathway? What then governs the orderly departure from ground firmly laid on the road to this course of decision making?
Can I both be or become the product of your projected imagination and force of will and remain or emerge on the other side of the prescribed and prudent pathways of circumspect intention? Simply; can I live to please you when I have committed in covenant and behavioral analysis to live solely governed and consistent to the Will of God? Can I walk the ridgeline of double service for extended periods or must I choose one side of the mountain, hill or descent in order to arrive at intended destination? And therefore is it the intention that dictates the reflection of circumspect living or the footfalls?
May I walk the line painted before me or depart to follow a suitable path to perception and purposeful fulfillment of a will greater than my own? A man must make a choice to either straddle the ridge in peaceful and paralyzed analysis of data, walk down one side or the other to flatter pasture or tippy toe the narrow expanse or absolute awareness, effectively in the Red Zone of commitment to risk management in the environment replete with danger and exception. I cannot simply sit watching the world stretched before my gaze nor can I walk the ridge night and day expecting that I will not fall prey to gravity or errant footing. I must then choose a side and in so doing risk displeasure of king and country if in fact it is my own will as sole consideration.
Two masters may not receive total provision of my love and service. If I can then I cannot and if I cannot then I can. Is my peace found conditionally in my allegiance to thought and service? Must I then obtain confident understanding of each master before choosing? I cannot be loved equally by all nor can I give divided fealty. I cannot choose one side of the mountain and expect perpetual regret for decision or performance. Sit still and choose paralysis, run the ridge and accept the risk of light and reality or seek the valley where growth and decay reside in the outcomes of God’s intention avoiding the waylaying influences of lust and leisure and the voices seeking dominion of both path and footfall. This day I contend with what I can and what I cannot do accordingly.
