Trust, dream and do.  The few are the many says He who stands upon the mountains of the sky tending His flocks watching over the affairs of men, in judgment.  Wish upon harmony if you will to find the things which have been concealed since the mooring of the prophets to this universe.  Keep faith, glean understanding from the fields where sickles prowl.  Engage in trial whereby we are understood by the populace of towns turned toward the sun.  Give pleasure to God through gratification for grace.  Peace flows upon the lands like water through the body.  It is a binding of sorts to the flame that kindled life.  Grasp at nothing for air is un-catchable.  The folds of time are spurious.  Rotate the means upon their ends and you find the justification.  Do dance, in joy of belonging to something greater than the self.  Hope in fealty for friends are those sutures which mend all ill.  Pause to gander upon reflection in the pond and know that this world is shadow of your home.  Give appropriately what you have been given.  Dare to be great.  Glorify the Mighty, Honor the fount of Righteousness, drink in desperation and see grace not far off as dry land to tourist, but as a webbing to the fabric of reality.  Love Me as I have loved you.

The original structure of the Church was sacrosanct and complete, yet we changed it.  It is increasingly apparent that the church is limited in functionality with regard to its intended mission of growing up the body, living in community, healing the lame and the lost and disseminating the Good News of The Gospel of Jesus Christ the Messiah.  The reasons for this decreased empowerment originate in disobedience to God’s Word.  It is certain that I will receive resistance to this position ironically from hobbled church leaders themselves who of course are the progenitors of said structural fallibility.

All members of the church are on level ground.  None is higher, closer to God, better equipped or greater spiritually than the next believer.  We have, “as men do” assigned leaders, most sadly now salaried to give an “approved message” one to several times per week that is supposed to fulfill what was meant to be full time daily commitment on the part of EVERY believer.  This is not to diminish the great expository preaching that many pastors deliver.  However that functionality which has become the mainstay of church participation was only intended as one face of the multifaceted jewel, called the church.

We have fallen prey to what I refer to as gravitational uni-conformity.  That being the propensity to find the most charismatic preacher that we know and then wait upon his every word as the only food we shall weekly receive.  This structural practice causes several negative impacts immediately;

1. dividing the church into segments of the “elevated” and the common,
2. silencing the collective absorption of the voice of the Holy Spirit from within each saint’s heart,
3. placing the success of church tasking squarely upon the shoulders of the few appendages instead the entire body
4. fostering ambition of those worldly people seeking elevated stature within the hierarchical structure of the church as a business.
5. stressing concentration on business functionality to shore up the paid staff and mortgage considerations of a “structural” church vs the individual body of each believer being the temple.

It also creates an environment where as God’s word compels us we cannot be Bereans about all the word that we are receiving.  Never questioning, never deviating from and never adding to the pastors unquestionable forty minute message.   Choosing to orbit the planet with the greatest gravity instead of seeking the light itself we resolve to bask in its reflection.  We have maintained a “man styled” hierarchical structure destined to inadequate performance of the great commission and Holy Spirit filled works.

This creates a myriad of problems that are nonexistent with the God inspired church structure.  We know patently what that structure entails by the Words of Jesus Himself in Revelation 2 & 3, where He clearly outlines all His intentions for the Body of Christ, His Church.  We consistently pray for national revival as if it is something that God decides to send us, when in fact it is something the He promises in response to our actions, (please read what 2Chronicles 7:14 says that WE must do).  I might add where He clearly says that He HATES the hierarchical relationship of professional clergy and common laity.  To oppose my argument believers immediately fall into the unfortunate and dangerous position of being in conflict with Christ Himself.

These truths must be said especially during this hour in which the final act approaches.  Apostasy is not necessary a falling away from the church but rather an opposition to the Word of God or more precisely a falling away from the Truth.  When viewed through this definitional lens, it is painfully obvious where we reside on the time line of God’s evolving plan for the world.  Lord forgive me if I have offended You or Your Bride in any fashion.  I do not wish to be contentious, but intend to wake up and strengthen the Body of Christ for the coming race to victory.  Praise Jesus, Amen.

How do we separate ourselves?  This world doesn’t whisper its hollers, pesters and prods.  It is nearly impossible to escape sinful imagery plastered upon every form of digital media, infiltrating our consciousness.  The temptation to go and find a nice Mennonite town, grow my beard and buy a horse and buggy becomes increasingly plausible.  Does anybody else see the exponential acceleration toward the “all out” anarchy of wickedness?

Our youth are being lured into a digital war zone going on behind the scenes.  A place where boundaries are eclipsed, rules forgotten and morays abandoned, all in the name of “entertainment”.  When did the need for sensory stimulation rule our thoughts and actions?  Escaping or avoiding reality of this world has become increasingly inviting and progressively simple.  Our kids cannot perform normal social functions without a simultaneous text, game or web rendezvous.  What we cannot join we must fight for passivity is what created Adam’s original dilemma.  There are only three available options; acceptance, resistance and fence-sitting.  Where have you chosen to reside?

Men consistently root around in the Bible lacking exegesis seeking explanation, justification and freedom from the Word’s stark accountability and truth.  “Wiggle room” is the call of today’s man.  They seek acceptance into the fold of Christian fellowship halls not by adhering to God’s Word but by manipulation.  They seek to change the truth, or “revise” history to accommodate their willful disobedience.  It will not be long until the Lord of the Universe is redacted from His own manuscript.  HOLD FIRM to what is right and true.  We are entering a world increasingly hostile to believers.  The time for immature faith is rapidly passing away.  We cannot belong, we cannot accept, we must therefore overcome through the Blood of Lord Jesus and our testimony!  Praise You in Your infinite wisdom, Lord.  Protect our children and deliver us from this spiraling world.

I got on my knees today to pray for peace in Jerusalem, but then I remembered something I needed and my devotion abruptly quit.  I prepared my ramparts and then considered the danger unlikely so I reclined in shade with tilted glass.  I implored the Lord to bring my friend to salvation and was immediately pestered by thoughts of self, filled with worry regarding my individual power and plans.  I gave of my blessings unselfishly and as I received return praise I quipped insincerely how it should be given to the Lord.  I glorified the name of the Lord and after several minutes my stomach called me to gastric idolatry.  I accepted the things I’ve been given and mused about the car, house and lavish finances my lost neighbor freely brandishes.  I read the Bible for an hour and recanted, through memory how much of it I possessed to the splendor of my audience.  I dreamed of things to come and then remained upon my couch preferring to entertain my leisure rather than go and usher in change.  My glory was achieved, my holiness hollow and the biggest clue is I just couldn’t get rid of that nagging injury, but the guilt subsided until eventually my conscience offered naught but seared silence.  The enemy has found his way into my faith through lack of vigilance and battle preparedness on my part.

No matter how much I love my Brothers they still can’t seem to understand my failures, thinking me somehow above sin, shallowness and frailty.  Maybe, that is the picture I have framed for them.  I pray that all forgive me for that lie possesses no fragment of truth.  Father, You know me.  Your fulfilled will is my greatest gain.  Your lost sheep cause me tears.  Where is peace without You?  Give to me an obedient heart.  Teach me to understand my allocated gifts and how to effectively use them for Your glory and service.  Take away all residue of previous habitual wickedness.  Please never turn me loose to my own designs.  Educate me in love, patience and self control so that I may effect change.  Let me praise, admire and glorify nothing but Your Holy Name.  Strengthen us for the great days on the horizon.  Prepare me for battle and lead me early to the line of embarkation so that I may scan the skies for Your enemies.  Thank you for entrusting me with any of Your Holiness, Righteousness and Truth.  Through You I will be made worthy of such grace.  Father bless Your Holy and Mighty Name.  Thank you Jesus.

The Lord loves me so much.  Not reward, not recognition of conformity but love for the real me that only He knows.  No stories, no secrets, no lies, standing psychologically naked without shame before my Maker.  His eyes upon me in the admiration of a loving Father, patiently waiting for me to become encouraged, strong and mature.  Never leaving for a moment even when I begin to soar, always keeping a watchful eye for the moments when I need flight correction or adjustment.  Not allowing me to walk into danger or continue in self destructive behavior by sending messengers to guide me through the thicket.  Holding me accountable to what I was commanded and to what I vowed.  “Right actions will never be regretted”, a small quiet voice says in the deep end of my mind.  That love makes me unstoppable because I know at the end of all my trials, work, ministry, and failures I get to go be with Him for eternity.  I have the joy of knowing what it means to be loved this way.  Nothing else compares.  Lord let me show them the way to Your love so that they too may feel this inexplicable joy.  Glory to God in the highest and here on Earth.  Jesus my love my joy.  Amen.

We find ourselves seated at a table with unlikely characters. Knowing that we had to do something we chose collectively to involve ourselves with demons. Not lower level assistants pent on doing the bidding of some unseen party boss, but the actual ravenous monsters themselves determined to unseat the King and consume the Kingdom. What desperation drives a man to sign on with enemies is commonly understood as last on the list of choices. Why then have we decided to associate with such characters prior to reaching the end of any rope? What manner of malfeasance caused us to seek company of the damned when a myriad of recourse remained? Pecuniary, perhaps. Passion, perchance? Whatever the reason, or absence thereof, apparently judgment has escaped logic’s holding. Wishing as wishing does will not free us to flee in the jail break with prudence. The jail to which we have secured ourselves is greater than any to which we could have been involuntarily sequestered. The personally designed cells consistently carry greater tragedy than forced incarceration.

The Bible refers to the doctrine of demons and continually calls warriors for the Cross to be mindful and resolute that they never find themselves among the deceived. How then do we stand among the waylaid? When did we abandon the watch, leaving our post open to infiltration and subterfuge? What sparkling gem were we proffered so brilliant that its value eclipsed promised eternity? What spectrum of valuation did we enjoin, measuring items priceless in same scope with corrosive bangles? When a man sells out, typically it is due to receiving promise of greater esteem or ambrosia. What elixir have we been promised? What kingdom, greater than the Divine delivers greater treasure than that of the Almighty God? How deep and dark the well of despair bringing a man to that choice of darkness over light. Buying that property in desperation requires powerful deception. A lie so strong that it defies reality, faith and mathematical factoring. These questions remain unanswered not for lack of evidence or explanation but rather in desired concealment of the cauterizing effects of medicinal truth. We don’t want to know anymore and look away from family to the numbing slumber of opium and orgy. The real popular catatonia being this lie jointly purchased in exchange for rationale and innocence. The unavoidable conclusion is that we have neglected ample warning, chosen false company and subsequently fallen prey to potent coercion.

All may appear determined, beyond repair, but this in itself is another layer of beguilement. Hope is eternal, victory assured for the contender for God remains in control. Even in the face of assured defeat the over comer envisages salvation and joyous celebration of deliverance from shadow. These things are FORETOLD, laid out for even the wicked to comprehend and in so understanding their only argument must be one of confusion, obfuscation and surrender. The outcome is known, the process predicted and enemy strategy revealed not through human intelligence but the only party outside of time, The Father God. Return to reason, accept your manuscript and remember the end before the tribulation. Keep your eye upon the outcome, not the obstacle. Look beyond and the current will fall from focus, dissolving in revelation of the Real. Contend for the faith, stand in the guaranteed promises of God, love unceasingly Your Lord and your Brother. Knowing without doubt what approaches. Though artillery overwhelming, and fog thicker than night, keep the light, awaiting arrival of hope in the person and divinity of Yeshuah Hamashia. Jesus will prevail.

We remember all about Balaam, the oracle and his near miss with death upon a donkey.  What we don’t recall is that he was from the land east of the Dead Sea in Ammon, modern day Jordan.  This pagan man believed so completely in OUR GOD that he refused to disobey what the Lord had commanded him.  What an incredible act of faith on the part of an unbelieving pagan worshiper.  He was eventually killed for acts against the Israelites, but what a resume, bullet point to have received command from the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob your enemies.  If God used a pagan, and sent him visions/dreams and insight, why do you think he won’t use you in greater fashion?

Satan’s (may the Lord Jesus rebuke him) strategy with the churches is working because we refuse to fight.  The first step to revolution/revival is create a “refreshed desire” in our own hearts to be obedient to the Lord’s Word.  Then we need to be honest about our own personal devotion, study, discipleship and prayer.  Do I really know the Bible?  Do I truly seek a relationship with this Creator, I call Father?  Do I communicate with Him continuously, seeking His will for my life?  Truth is tough to swallow when you will not take the action it indicates.  We need to know our Bibles, know our Lord, intercede in prayer for those who cannot be heard and tell the story of Christ’s Mighty work upon Calvary’s Cross.  Anything else is idol or idle worship.  Stop kidding yourselves and then maybe God will reveal something to you.

We don’t recall or find it important that Peter wrote his Holy Spirit inspired scripture while in Babylon.  We don’t study enough of history, in this country, to remember that Alexander the Great died in Babylon attempting to make it his capital.  We fail to remember that is where false worship began with the disobedience of Nimrod and Semiramis.  We don’t remember that Joseph served and died in Egypt, Ezekiel in Babylon and Daniel in Iran.  We are too interested in what ever intrigue is going on in Hollywood, Washington D.C., New York or Paris to investigate the fountain of living water in God’s word.  If you truly believe we are living in the end times then start acting like it and study His prophecy and its congruence with current circumstances.  Children of the Light remain in the light.

If Christians want to know God’s will for their lives here it is;  Develop a relationship with the Lord through the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus the Messiah that becomes the most important thing in your life.  Then go and tell everyone you meet about Jesus and His coming Kingdom and teach them to obey all that He has commanded them.  Then in His timing you will receive discernment in your heart, mind and soul that will lead you to the works which God prepared for you to do before the beginning of time.

The time for us to remain in false comfort, complacency and ignorance has transpired.  The Bible and our current times call us to an understanding beyond the sphere of our customary flippancy.  If you feel I am being too rigid, take a few minutes and research that Jesus commanded us in the “imperative” tense to know about and be ready for the things which are yet to come.  He was not suggesting that we know the seasons, He was commanding us to be ready.   Be honest, get prepared, be prayerful and keep the lamps filled with oil.  May the Lord Jesus be praised.

The term “service” is ripe with meaning. It is one of those words which goes way back in antiquity, having deep connotations for the commoners.  It is a noun, a verb and an adjective dependent upon the Author’s intention.  Its original usage surrounded servitude or slavery but there are nearly 40 different facets to this morpheme gem.  How can a simple word be so deep?  It is as if there are certain terms that exceed the current dimensional characteristics of speech, providing a linguistic maze each passage expanding the labyrinth.

How could this word, which on the surface appears to be a simple explanatory concept, blossom in verbal perpetuity at each contemplation?  It is sufficient hint to the depth of God’s Word as the Holy Spirit continually utilizes concepts rife with depth and unfolding expression.  This is a meditating man’s dream, phrases so packed with potential significance that they breed a hunger for understanding, faith and relationship.  The crumbs that lead to the throne room, the clues tracing back to the designer, the path to the Maker.  If you haven’t thought of how wonderful our Almighty Father is do your own study on the following three words; righteousness, service and love.

Lord I am in awe at the breadth, depth, width and length of Your grace.  I look forward to sitting with You and understanding that which is currently beyond my reckoning.  It is a pleasure to be in service the Creator of the universe.  Praise You for all that You are.  In Jesus’ name.  Amen.

Daniel and Joseph were given specific understanding of the mysteries of God.  Why?  What commonality of men “set apart” these two men as prepared ground for the seed of the unknown?  How did they differ from most men?  What did they do with the insightful knowledge that they were given?  How were they spiritually conditioned to tap in to the direct understanding of the Almighty so that even in drastic circumstances they maintained faith, hope and comfort in the Lord’s ability to deliver?  They were both businessmen or administrators beyond reproach.  They were both challenged by the envious ambitions of worldly mongers.  They were separated from their brethren and put into environments that were foreign to the point of worshiping pagan gods.  They flourished in those places where most would be subjected to the miseries of the slavery to which they found themselves captive.  They were symbolic of the position in which each of us saints currently reside.  I will have to remain in meditative prayer for quite the time in order to even begin to grasp that spirit inspired symbolism.  Perhaps you will join me and together we will have fresh enlightenment into the mysteries of our Lord, the Father through the Son by the Holy Spirit.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Why is devotion so difficult?  Is it time that rules my actions or perhaps something more elusive?  Lord, why does this world have the ability to capture our focus to the point of redirecting our just wishes?  I fully understand Paul’s frustration in that he knew what was right, committed himself to doing only what was right and yet still did wrong.  It is an enigma to us how we could no longer be slaves to sin and still be compelled to do that which we hate.  Is that so we can learn to hate sin as You do, Lord?  Through being disgusted in review of our own participation we learn to hate that which You hate?  I await that day when I will be free of this weakness, this antithetical behavior, this sin.  Remake me in Your Holy likeness so that I forget what has gone and live in harmony with all that is pure, just and righteous.

You have forgiven, therefore I must forgive myself.  However, Father I cannot bring myself to condone even one iota of this fleshly complicity.  I will fight my captors just as a captured soldier, but understanding the message of Your mystery in the Book of Ephesians, I know that the battle is not fought in my own power and authority.  I will stand, being of good courage in full recognition that it is You, My Holy Lord who fights for me.  Armored with Your characteristics I will face the enemy victoriously as this is what You have promised.  My faith is in You and not in my own ability, understanding or will.  I am Yours, Forever.  Praise Your Light.  Amen.
