Can you see it coming?

Movement in the distance catches the eye.  Even something far off, just beyond our focus can still be tracked by human vision.  If we are intrigued we will then grab a pair of binoculars to determine what the object is and if it be friend or foe.  Right now there is movement on the horizon for humanity.  Groups, shapes and colors blend and fade as we try to bring it into focus.  We may not be able to distinguish what is out there but we know that something approaches.

What could it be out there, are we curious, or just complacent?  Here are some articles that demonstrate what is going on out there beyond our field of vision.  If you are conscious, curious and obedient you will review this information, match it against what the Bible says is happening and then take it to the Holy Spirit in prayer for verification.  If you think that this is folly then please go back to your comfortable position and I will pray for your protection from the inevitable forces facing us in the near future.  Either way the information is out there for you to make your decisions and act or rest accordingly.

http://www.israelunitycoalition.org/news/?p=7976  Just as in 1948 and 1967, there is an Arab consensus building and it ironically includes groups from America.  The Bible says that they will fail miserably but they will take Jerusalem and the Jews will suffer, did you know that?

http://www.cfr.org/economics/crisis-guide-global-economy/p19710?gclid=COWgo5Ptoq8CFYZoKgodFg9haA  The stage is set for a need for One-World Government to save us from our own national corruption.  These are the behind-the-scene folks who are sponsoring the philosophy of “the New World Order”.  Do you feel yourself slowly being convinced of the need for global governmental intervention and unity?  The Bible clearly predicts these events and purports this as one sign that the world will welcome the aspirations of the son of perdition.

When I was growing up the schools were pretty good.  The founding Fathers warned of the one thing that could bring down this democracy was special interests.  The most effective strategy of the enemy other than that of getting us away from the Bible is the tactical erosion of the institutions teaching our children.  Our kids are being led astray by skeptics, evolutionary naturalist’s and the secular theist’s which dominate the educational system in our country.

http://www.brookings.edu/events/2012/0328_disaster_trends.aspx  The severity, complexity and regularity of devastating natural disasters is measurable, visible and recognizable by all.  This absolutely reflects Biblical understanding of the events preceding the return of the Lord for His Church and Judgment.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ecumenism#Christian_ecumenism_and_interfaith_pluralism

Do you truly know where your church stands on this erosion of Christian Doctrine?  I am not pointing fingers at any one church because apparently all or most have capitulated at some level.  Check your doctrine, is it sound or has been corrupted by “New Age” spiritualism and the Global cry for Interfaith plurality being pushed by the World Council of Churches?  Have you seen a falling away of church members, empty/bankrupt/foreclosed churches?  Again, all this is perfectly foretold in the Bible and further solidifies the indistinguishable shapes on the horizon.

http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/04/05/food-fao-idUSL6E8F520G20120405  Global food commodities prices are rapidly escalating.  What does this mean for a world already under economic, environmental and political stresses?  The Bible predicts this scenario with undeniable accuracy.

Well, I think that the movement on the horizon for humanity is clearly visible at this time.  No longer are these just indistinguishable, geometric influences invading the edges of our ocular perception.  These influences have been building for decades and are gaining speed, closing in on man as a species.  I would say an alarm should be sounding repeatedly calling all of us to arms, battle stations, prayer rooms and preparation.  Yet it appears that the majority wishes to slumber, hoping that calamity will somehow pass us by.

This perfect storm is not only headed our way but it encircles the globe and will impact, devastate or transform every living thing on this planet.  You choose where you wish to be when the damn breaks, physically it matters very little.  Ah, but spiritually that is where the investment pays.  Are you saving up treasures in heaven that will never rust, be stolen or decay?  Are you waiting upon the Lord or just hoping to blindly enjoy what you’ve got and experience, the “right now” for as long as you can?  The choice is ours but we all share the same coming events which will determine our individual fate.  On which side of eternity do you stand?  Compiling the evidence of coming events there is only one rational position and that is “with the Lord for eternity.”

Your inheritance

The enemy recognizes the presence of the Lord Jesus in each of us.  Contemplating Jeremiah today I saw that the enemy sees those who serve the Lord God and treats them accordingly.  That is not to say that the enemy did not loathe Jeremiah for his service, but he also offered him relief, release and succor when he saw Jeremiah’s sacrifice.  As with anything that the enemy offers we are forced to turn it down immediately, knowing fully that there are always strings attached to the offering.  Perhaps, it is then at our weakest when we have surrendered to the Lord’s will for our lives, that we are capable of making the choice to remain on the path, even as we are tempted to be led astray by promised contraband.  Let’s take a look at Jeremiah 40 to see such an episode and be encouraged by Jeremiah’s reaction to the enemy’s offer;

The word came to Jeremiah from the Lord after Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard had released him at Ramah.  He had found Jeremiah bound in chains among all the captives from Jerusalem and Judah who were being carried into exile to Babylon.  When the commander of the guard found Jeremiah he said to him, “The Lord your God decreed this disaster for this place.  And now the Lord has brought it about; he has done just as he said he would.  All this happened because you people sinned against the Lord and did not obey Him.  But today I am freeing you from the chains on your wrists.  Come with me to Babylon, if you like, and I will look after you; but if you do not want to, then don’t come.  Look, the whole country lies before you; go wherever you please.”  However, before Jeremiah turned to go, Nebuzaradan added, “Go back to Gedaliah son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has appointed over the towns of Judah and live with him among the people, or go anywhere else you please.”  Then the commander gave him provisions and a present and let him go.  So Jeremiah went to Gedaliah son of Ahikam at Mizpah and stayed with him among the people who were left behind in the land.

We are immediately presented with the fact that the Lord uses even the enemy soldiers to deliver His word to His beloved.  Look at the first line of this chapter.  The word came to Jeremiah from the Lord after Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard had released him at Ramah. Jeremiah has such discernment that he could see the Lord’s will wrapped up in the speech of an enemy combatant.  It is with this understanding that we are able to overcome all that confronts us as all things serve the Lord, even the enemy, The Lord Jesus rebuke him.

Then as always the enemy tried to lure Jeremiah in with flattery and deception stating his understanding that the Lord had predicted and carried out His judgment upon the nation of Israel, but it is the commander who had set Jeremiah free.  What an idle boast.  If the Lord God had predicted and executed His judgment then He had also provided for Jeremiah’s deliverance.  Then the commander showed his true intent, “Come with me to Babylon, if you like, and I will look after you”.  We see the clever repetition of the enemy’s attempt to catch us while we’re weak, then offer us something that was ours to begin with in exchange for service to his requirements.  Then to seal the deal he offered provisions, a place to stay with the local magistrate and gifts.

If the enemy cannot defeat a Christian through fear and force he will promise abundance to distract us away from God’s will for our lives.  But take heart, just as Jeremiah perceived this to be the Word of the Lord, so too, will those of us with the discernment to know the Lord’s voice.  We will not be led astray because the Lord’s voice is recognizable against all others.  The small quiet voice which leads and calls us to sanctification will never leave us or forsake us in the time of greatest need.  Trust in the Lord, call upon His name and have your feet set securely upon a path from which you will never depart.  Praise Jesus in His infinite Glory.  Amen.

Leaning against the fencepost

http://now.msn.com/now/0405-god-taken-out-of-song.aspx  Remove God at our own peril.

At the center is the Lord waiting for us to arrive.  At the edge is the Lord watching over us with His Mighty Hand of Providence delivering us, even from ourselves.  The Lord walks with us challenging us to get up and surrender to Him not to the things and trials of this world.  Inside us He whispers, comforts, rebukes and bolsters our constitution allowing us to excel where capitulation seems the only recourse.  Beyond us He prepares a future for us all, leaving no detail incomplete, no aspect left to chance, a future on which we as Christians base our entire hope, faith and reality.  A faith in the absolute certainty in the Promises of God.  There is nothing of this world worthy of my allegiance.  My faith, my future, my shelter, shade, warmth and sustenance is the Lord God Almighty through Jesus Christ My Lord.  Upon that solid rock I will build and when all else is shaken I will remain safe in Jesus.

If what I’ve just said seems lunacy to you then I pray that the Lord removes the veil from your eyes and softens your heart to His Grace.  If what I’ve said offends you then I will pray for your salvation and deliverance from an eternity separate from the Almighty God who made us.  If what I’ve said pesters you then I pray that you surrender to the voice of the Holy Spirit at work within you calling you to repentance, surrender and belief.  If what I’ve said warms your heart then I pray that the Hand of the Lord protect you from the trials that you surely will face in this world.  If what I’ve said brings you peace and joy then I pray for your continued stand for the Lord in His quest to seek those who may be lost to Him.  If what I’ve said glorifies God then I ask His forgiveness for not having said it sooner.

We wait upon You, precious Lord.  Your will be done on earth just as it is done in Heaven.  In Jesus’ Name I pray for all of us to rest in You.

This Lady

My Spirit is heavy as we near the approaching train wreck of American History.  The hands of the deceiver are set firmly at the small of our back forcing us into the path of the oncoming locomotive.  Where we had once been bystanders on the platform now we have become headline news with epic narrative and graphic images of gore and plasma.  The whistle blows, the light illuminates the tunnel, while screeching brakes spasm our nerves to the point of collapse.  Thing is, our friends, our families, our history books, our Pastors, our girlfriends, wives and daughters had all begged us not to go to the station.  Pleading with us and showing solid evidence that someday we would be involved in cataclysm, one which was totally avoidable.  At the last moment as gravity calls us wantonly to the third rail we remember distinctly reading in the Bible our Grandmother gave us that all we had to do was repent, believe and have faith and we would be saved from this moment, but we didn’t listen.

My country is teetering on edge with not but a hand’s width fluctuation in angle of derivation making this a foregone conclusion.  We have forgotten God, we have forgotten what made this country great, departing from the morals and solid foundational practices that accompany all to greatness.  We have carelessly swallowed the bait laid out for us by the enemy and are now crumpled over grasping our midsection wondering what has happened and begging our corrupt officials to save us from the inevitable.  We are wretched, tired, hungry, naked, blind and alone and the worst of it is that we haven’t even humbled ourselves in that state enough to cry out to the Lord for deliverance.  We how offer ourselves the choice of two leaders, neither who believe in the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob nor would proclaim the Name of Jesus even if it guaranteed salvation for the entire nation.  We have sold our birthright for a bowl of soup and have no right, recourse or recipient for our complaints.  To the winner goes the spoils, well in this fight the enemy is winning and his golden cup is the destruction of the blessing called America.

Who will stand for her?  Who will risk everything to protect the unborn, the unwed, the widowed, tired, alone and hungry?   Who will challenge the wicked, pray for the unsavory, visit the incarcerated and proclaim the mighty name of Jesus, no matter what the personal consequence?  Who will demonstrate their love for the Lord by obeying His command and walking the path of righteousness?  Who will remember this grand lady, dressed for ceremony, holding her light high, leading all misbegotten souls to safety in a country where God is King, not men?  Who will waste the last ounce of pride, treasure, talent and breath calling her to repentance at the feet of the Most High God?  Will it be me, will it be you, or are we just through?  Waiting and watching for God’s return does not mean sitting on the bench, with helmet in your hand. as the field goes one player short waiting for you to get in the game.  Wait on God.  Perhaps it is you that He is waiting upon.  Praise Jesus Amen.

The hedgerow

Whatever you don’t control, controls you.  Rampant lusts and unbridled hungers may not lead to trouble, but excesses always come with baggage.  Whether food, sex, entertainment, shopping, anger or affection overindulgence serves another master, namely the god of flesh.  If my actions, thoughts and prayer time is not focused on the Lord then I am serving someone else.  And the Bible explicitly says this is not possible as we will love one and hate the other at some point.

Is flesh my god?  Emphatically I say “No”, the Holy Spirit of God rules in my universe and therefore He leads me toward self-control.  The difficult learning in all this is that this is entirely none of my doing.  The Lord calls me to surrender and then He will indwell me, making the changes to my internal landscape so that it may accommodate His Glory.  I was incapable of saving myself, I am incapable of sanctifying myself.  The irony of Christianity is two-fold; one I must surrender in fearful wisdom of the Lord I serve and then humble myself in weakness so that I may be used to fullest extent of my capacity.  This is antithetical to the world’s understanding and paradigm, therefore, the spiritually blind cannot see God.

Oh, Lord speak to their hearts.  Let them see worldly aspiration as futility wrapped in a blanket of pointlessness.  Winning the world means nothing if I am to be forever separated from Almighty God.  I will have achieved less than nothing, stealing from myself the opportunity for Eternity spent with my maker.  Let me surrender my entire life to You so that Your Grace may expose every corner of my humanity to Your Holiness.  Bring into line all my behaviors so that nothing I do offends You or serves another master.  You alone are God, King, Majesty, Might and Honor.  Jesus be praised.  Amen.

Straight scoop

There are those who continue to argue that a Biblical view of coming revelation, disaster and judgment is somehow a defeatist’s hope.  Notwithstanding, that I cannot be swayed from the absolute adherence to Biblical truth surrounding past, current and future events, I am nonetheless a rational person and will for a moment discuss the realistic evidences which some may believe possibly refute Biblical perfection.

In order to formulate a clear understanding of worldly affairs, let us look upon the current measures of conflict, economy, global-environmental, human health and energy.  Regardless of desired outcome, we are forced to analyze these indicators to agree upon our current global status and subsequently philosophize about where we, perhaps, may find ourselves in the not too distant future.

Conflict; en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ongoing_conflicts

Taking a look at the skirmishes, battles and ongoing conflict, globally we as humans are forced to admit that we are not a peaceful race.  Reviewing the unresolved, ideological contests that continue to fuel fatalities we see that forgiveness is in short supply in this past generation.  We have settled in to an accepted warring status where the battles never end they merely flare up whenever the mood, economic influences, events or circumstances permit.  What rational man can look at these numbers and somehow see any evidence of man “evolving” toward any type of enlightening moment, where we will peacefully collaborate to find our way out of our collective morass?  It is additionally alarming that over 90% of these conflicts are religious in nature, between Muslim, Christian and Jewish populations, a fact alone which points to the correctness of Biblical Prophecy.  With regard to armed conflict, things are getting worse, not better, as we stand on the brink of a catastrophic Middle Eastern War that will eclipse the devastation of any other World War event.

Economy; As never before, the economies of each nation are tied together in a unified, global symbiotic dependence.  http://www.gti.org/Publications/IBR-global-overview-2012.asp

Analysis of the current trends of crippling inflation, productivity, taxation, debt and decreasing national GDP, the overwhelming truth is that we are now all in the same leaking boat, with limited resources and no sight of land.  In addition to the depressing state of global economic indicators we now have a world population near seven billion people.  This number is staggering, considering the severe pressure to provide food, medical care and financial support for all of humanity.  Simply put, even if we were standing on a solid, global commitment to humanitarian relief, which we are not,a time is rapidly approaching when there will not be enough assets to meet the need.  In support of these data we must look upon the international news agencies unwillingness to tell the truth about our dilemma.  This inability to receive honest reporting, leaves the common citizen with a nagging distrust that we are headed for disaster and they don’t want to tell us as they fear panic worse than the potential crisis itself.  Again, the story is not pretty, the economy is in disarray, preparing the ground for the entry of the anti-Christ to present himself as messiah for a desperate world.  And who here doubts that this desperate world would worship him as such when he provides catharsis for the masses.  his allure will be the true opiate of which unbelievers so readily accuse our Creator.

Global Environmental conditionshttp://www.yale.edu/gegdialogue/foundations_currentstate.htm

The most entirely ironic evaluation of our potential to solve the world’s current decaying global environmental problems is that the people who are pushing evolutionary naturalistic solutionism are the very  same people decrying our inevitable and unavoidable global disaster.  When researching topics like nuclear decommissioning, heavy metals in the water table, global warming, rising seas, carbon poisoning and agricultural soil damage you will find scientists from the left painting a dire picture of our future earth.  Yet these same researchers continue to hold to the naive philosophy that somehow we will come to a collective understanding of our errant behavior and suddenly be compelled to collaborate toward a utopian age.  The picture is dire, the population growing, the ultra-selfish desire to consume everything in sight and our inability to get the truth without political spin or pension makes this a particularly confounding subject.  Humans have damaged this planet.  It is therefore particularly asinine to believe that we will be the solution to our own short-sightedness.  The only way we will protect this planet is if in the process of our blind pursuits we are brought nearly to the brink of destruction and are thus forced to capitulate and cry out to God for mercy.  There is no other solution to these monumental problems other than trust, faith and hope in God’s ability to overcome these disastrous circumstances we’ve created.

Human health; https://sites.google.com/a/globemed.org/inside-globemed-org/Home/globalhealthu/introduction-to-global-health/the-current-state-of-global-health

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-17628172   Again the state of health can drastically improve globally but we are precluded by our committed to selfishness and continuing resistance to standard forms of treatment.

The last one hundred years and the advent of new strides in medical technology have significantly increased the average life span, even in some third-world environments.  However this increase in longevity has itself created numerous unintended consequences and impacts upon an already burdened global health collective.  People although living longer are having a rash of cancers, heart disease, Alzheimer’s and economic difficulties associated with living longer when people can no longer care for themselves.  Couple this again with our under-girding desire to focus on our individual need and you have a recipe for neglected elderly.  Again man’s inhumanity to man and our unstoppable pursuit of self-actualization prohibit us from reaching any kind of dignified human health solution.  Clean water is increasingly scarce, sufficient agriculture to provide for balanced diet for every man, woman and child and the excuses of economic difficulties vilify those new-ager’s seeking a global population culling.  These are the same people who want abortion on demand, assisted suicide and masterfully use class warfare to defer true concentration on the world’s desire to solve our joint problems.  We will not feed the starving though there is enough food, we will not care for the orphaned as they are a burden on our dreams and we neglect the diseased poor and elderly wishing that they would just go away and no longer bother us with their dilemma.  Our hearts have grown cold to one another which is an alarmingly potent affirmation of Biblical Prophetic perfection.

Global energy;  This is the least defensible area when trying to provide a rosy picture of man’s future.  We are rapidly exhausting our fossil fuels which is a great thing for the environment but will sponsor the global wars soon to come.  Our only sustainable choice is nuclear technology which is itself a march toward Pandora’s outcome.  We are too late in pursuing green technologies and will never really commit ourselves to such pursuits as it will force the rich to give up their sport utility vehicles and lavish “cribs”.  Again we are faced with an overwhelming evidentiary review pointing toward our inability to turn course and solve the world’s issues.  There is no reasonable energy solution currently being addressed or presented.  Point of fact, is we have no solution and in the absence of such, those who refuse to accept the truth of God continue to argue about the cause with no answers in sight.

The only answer is to rely upon God, He provides the only solution to our unavoidable end.  Look, if there were any evidence that things are getting better than I would accommodate such argument, but alas there is none.  Although, this idea of believing and not seeing does coincide with Biblical teaching that “faith is belief in things not yet seen”, there remains no foundation for such a faith in man’s ability to overcome our own nature.  There is however, consistent, historical evidence for the existence of and the subsequent reliance upon a God who will never leave us, forsake us or allow us to continue in our collective penchant for destruction.

The Lord will set things right and provide for us a solid, healthy, economically and ecologically sound foundation on which to build our communities of the future.  The nearness of God’s coming is imminent, evident and necessary.  If you wish further proof, look to the increased number and severity of global disasters, pestilence, disease and war.  Better yet, look to the Bible and run from God’s Wrath to Come.  Run to the Lord our only shelter, sustenance, protection and salvation.  Praise God in Jesus’ Holy Name, Amen.

Choice and change

Evaluating my behavior toward God and the world I give myself mixed review.  On the one hand I surrender my day to Him, but on the other I spend my time taking it back piece by piece.  My sin and unforgiveness, limit my potential relationship and fellowship with the Lord.  I know this yet I still hold grudges and continue to commit the same infractions born by habit, selfishness and a rebellious heart.  My study, prayer and performance in the word bring me closer to Him and give me discernment, clarity and efficacy for the Kingdom.  I dedicate myself to studying the word, going to the Lord in intercessory prayer and obeying His commands through right-action, yet I still find other issues toward which I dedicate my first fruits that should be reserved for God.  I fully relate to Paul’s statement about knowing the right thing and how frustrating it is when I still repeatedly do what is wrong.  My failures teach me more than my successes.  Through this process I am given daily opportunity to re-dedicate myself to serving the Lord and choosing to put aside self and other idle influences.  I make the choice and then He makes the change.  Praise Jesus Amen.

Disobliging

Dusty tales of camaraderie and conquest.  Stories of long, arduous days of overcoming, followed by devoted, peaceful nights in communal reflection over fruitful journey.  Shared belief, mutual respect, understanding and unexplainable tranquility in the midst of struggle, knowing that promised provision will come.  Not bounty built of group vanity, planning or combined effort and strength, but grace.  Belief that the Lord, our Father will provide sanctity, sacrament and sourcing for all our need, just as His word and our history foretells.

The dead especially know our future, having specific understanding of our combined fate.  They are godless, for the Lord is not God of the dead, but of the living who passed from this plane into life everlasting.  For believers, death has lost its sting.  Only the dead know the separation to which many of us are headed.  They would cry out, beseeching us to turn back toward God, but we would not listen.  Most ask me to tell sweet, romantic lullabies of a bright future for mankind, but I know that the truth is stark, real and tells of a considerably different end.  We have created our own destiny through careless words and disobedient action.  Let the words of the prophet Isaiah speak for the Lord where my words would fail perhaps His may shake you from slumber.  Isaiah 24:1-13;

The Lords Devastation of the Earth

See, the Lord is going to lay waste to the earth and devastate it; he will ruin its face and scatter its inhabitants– it will be the same for priest as for people, for master as for servant, for mistress as for maid, for seller as for buyer, for borrower as for lender, for debtor as for creditor.  The earth will be completely laid waste and totally plundered.  The Lord has spoken this word.  The earth dries up and withers, the world languishes and withers, the exalted of the earth languish.  The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant.  Therefore a curse consumes the earth; its people must bear their guilt.  Therefore earth’s inhabitants are burned up, and very few are left.  The new wine dries up and the vine withers; all merrymakers groan.  The gaiety of the tambourines is stilled, the noise of the revelers has stopped, the joyful harp is silent.  No longer do they drink wine with a song; the beer is bitter to its drinkers.  The ruined city lies desolate; the entrance to every house is barred.  In all the streets they cry out for wine; all joy turns to gloom, all gaiety is banished from the earth.  The city is left in ruins, its gate is battered to pieces.  So will it be on the earth and among the nations, as when an olive tree is beaten, or as when gleanings are left after the grape harvest.

Thank you Most High God for this instructive word.  I will listen to your command, repent of my sin and seek Your face, my only righteousness is You.  Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven.  Praise Your Mighty, Holy Name.  In Jesus I find prayer, solace and peace.

The sweet news of Christ our Lord

http://youtu.be/auSo1MyWf8g  This type of clip looks so innocent, calling us to worship creation not our creator.  But Christians have insight, and a Bible that warns us to be Bareans about the things we see and hear.  What appears innocent enough is really a platform for the evolutionary religion called “naturalism.”  Below is a Wikipedia dossier segment on the religion of Sir David Attenborough, the man who produced this video clip.  He is not innocent but rather an agent for the prince of the power of the air, seeking to lead astray our youth.  Yes, I too want to hear good news and it bothers me to be wrapped in the chaos which surrounds news in our present era, but I will not choose to bury my head in the sand of false doctrine to soothe my wearied nervous system.  We must look at the motivations of the producer of this good news in order to see their true intention of religious propaganda for the new age religions that began in Babylon with Nimrod.  Give me truth, light, life and the Lord, anything else is deception for my spirit.  Praise Jesus Amen.

Here is another clip that reveals the pressures of spiritualism upon society throughout the ages.  http://www.wnd.com/wnd_video/go-back-in-time-to-see-roots-of-star-worship/#ooid=Z5eHQ2NDquGdsY_jEhnqGlphE5ttq8qY  Before watching this clip please read the below information from Wikipedia on David Attenborough’s religion.

Religion and creationism

In a December 2005 interview with Simon Mayo on BBC Radio Five Live, Attenborough stated that he considers himself an agnostic.[56] When asked whether his observation of the natural world has given him faith in a creator, he generally responds with some version of this story, making reference to the Loa loa parasitic worm:

My response is that when Creationists talk about God creating every individual species as a separate act, they always instance hummingbirds, or orchids, sunflowers and beautiful things. But I tend to think instead of a parasitic worm that is boring through the eye of a boy sitting on the bank of a river in West Africa, [a worm] that’s going to make him blind. And [I ask them], ‘Are you telling me that the God you believe in, who you also say is an all-merciful God, who cares for each one of us individually, are you saying that God created this worm that can live in no other way than in an innocent child’s eyeball? Because that doesn’t seem to me to coincide with a God who’s full of mercy’.[57]

He has explained that he feels the evidence all over the planet clearly shows evolution to be the best way to explain the diversity of life, and that “as far as [he’s] concerned, if there is a supreme being then he chose organic evolution as a way of bringing into existence the natural world.”

In a BBC Four interview with Mark Lawson, Attenborough was asked if he at any time had any religious faith. He replied simply, “No.”[58] He has also said “It never really occurred to me to believe in God”.[59]

In 2002, Attenborough joined an effort by leading clerics and scientists to oppose the inclusion of creationism in the curriculum of UK state-funded independent schools which receive private sponsorship, such as the Emmanuel Schools Foundation.[60] In 2009, Attenborough stated that the Book of Genesis, by saying that the world was there for people to dominate, had taught generations that they can “dominate” the environment, and that this has resulted in the devastation of vast areas of the environment.[61] Attenborough further explained to the science journal Nature, “That’s why Darwinism, and the fact of evolution, is of great importance, because it is that attitude which has led to the devastation of so much, and we are in the situation that we are in.”[62][63]

Also in early 2009, the BBC broadcast an Attenborough one-hour special, Charles Darwin and the Tree of Life. In reference to the programme, Attenborough stated that “People write to me that evolution is only a theory. Well, it is not a theory. Evolution is as solid a historical fact as you could conceive. Evidence from every quarter. What is a theory is whether natural selection is the mechanism and the only mechanism. That is a theory. But the historical reality that dinosaurs led to birds and mammals produced whales, that’s not theory.”[64] He strongly opposes creationism and its offshoot “intelligent design“, saying that a survey that found a quarter of science teachers in state schools believe that creationism should be taught alongside evolution in science lessons was “really terrible”.[64]

In March 2009, Attenborough appeared on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross. Attenborough stated that he felt evolution did not rule out the existence of a God and accepted the title of agnostic saying, “My view is: I don’t know one way or the other but I don’t think that evolution is against a belief in God.”[65]

Attenborough has joined evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins and other top scientists in signing a campaign statement coordinated by the British Humanist Association (BHA). The statement calls for “creationism to be banned from the school science curriculum and for evolution to be taught more widely in schools.”

Melting Pot at boiling point

Trying so hard to appear relevant, authentic and acceptable our message has been diffused, confused and mingled with the ministry of the masses.  God’s word is razor sharp and cuts through mockery, deception and misinformation with uncanny precision.  I have tried so desperately to sound reasonable that I wandered onto the winding staircase of Tom -foolery headed absolutely nowhere.  We see before us the petals of God’s flower unfolding, each leaf revealing new mystery, complexity and form.  Reading, believing and carrying the Lord’s word to willing ears must be my sole purpose.  How can we so neatly count upon mathematics, yet easily ignore the historically-consistent outcome of national disobedience to God’s will for His creation?  Would you castigate a man for declaring with confidence that two and two will always equal four?

How can one hope to appear reasonable by stating the obvious truth that the United States of America presently constitutes ~3.75 Million Square Miles of bone dry kindling, dowsed in petrol, with our citizenry dancing around as children, playing with fire?  I have yet to discover how to make such a truthful statement without appearing the radical, but none-the-less the words must be uttered.  Ahead the looming clouds of the perfect storm are visible on the horizon; our citizens are well-armed, unprepared for disaster, lacking the character and constitution, food or water to survive calamity, yet complacently making no preparation. The economy is fragile, nerves are raw and worse of all our love for one another has grown cold.

America’s enemies predicted that they would have to do nothing to insure our demise but wait, and they were right.  We have destroyed ourselves by ravenously consuming everything in our path, forgetting the true treasures of liberty and abandoning the foundational truths that basked America in God’s seemingly, unlimited grace.  The few Christian voices being heard on the airwaves tell us to pray real hard and that revival is possible, yet the Bible disagrees.  Our future is written, our inability to repent and turn back to the Lord inevitable and the Great Day of the Lord painfully close.  Yet we still wait to make preparation of heart, mind, body and spirit hoping, praying and depending upon humanity for salvation.

Conservatives can no longer tolerate, yet refuse to adequately insulate themselves from the degradation of ethical principles, intrinsic to our history.  While liberals can no longer keep their unbridled lust for self-actualization and controlled-freedom nestled in the darkness of their cloaks, foolishly repressing the data of that failed experiment called “socialism.”  Our elections are nearly split down the middle based upon ideals not reality.  There is no voice of reason only plurality.  There is no common ground only capitulation or power.  There is no truthful media only jockeying for collective disinformation.  There is no hope for this great Lady as we will provide none of the milk and honey which made her beautiful, vibrant and grand.  We have forgotten God and though He may have turned His head away from us, turning us over to just dessert, He has not forgotten us.  We will be dealt with accordingly and in perfect timing commensurate with our transgression.  How can telling this truth be perceived as anything but lack of judgment, yet it remains the truth whether or not I am willing to deliver it?

I don’t want this to be true, yet it is.  I don’t want the world to fall from God’s grace yet it has.  I wish that there were a way for us to stop the madness and collectively provide some egalitarian solution to our global difficulties, but we won’t.  I don’t want to have the caustic, enmity of my neighbors for telling them that all they cling to will soon be moved about as flotsam on the tide, but it will.  I wish that men would unselfishly provide for the widowed, hungry, poor and forgotten, but they won’t.  My faith is not in man but in the God who made us and can save us from our own penchant for destruction.  I no longer even trust my own inclination but rather the spirit of God that drives my conscience.  There is no truth but God’s word.  There is no salvation but Jesus.  America, I love you.  I weep at your agonized brow and un-raveling toga.  Take peace from the Lord and cover your shame with His righteousness before it is too late.  In Jesus’ precious name I cry out to You Father on behalf of Your children blinded by flesh and deception.
