The paving papacy

The Pope paves the wide road for unbelievers.

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/world/pope-francis-god-mercy-extends-atheists-agnostics-article-1.1453538

No longer is it a necessity for people to accept and believe in the work of the Lord Jesus Christ as the only way to God.  According to the Pope, people only need obey their conscience in a quest to reach God.  Unfortunately, the wide road leads to destruction and an eternity separated from God.  How can the supreme pontiff of the Catholic faith be so utterly mistaken about the Gospel to so foolishly pronounce this false doctrine?  I think those of us who understand that wisdom begins with fear of Lord get it at the center of our beings.  This is false teaching, delivered by a man who heads up a church that practices rituals based in pagan history.  He is simply doing his work as the last pope of the Catholic church by leading as many astray as possible by creating a one-world religion that claims all roads lead to god.  It is something that is necessary to setting the stage for the unveiling of the antichrist as the great apostasy begins.

Makes you want to run to Bible to see what it says about this doesn’t it?  Praise be to God that is exactly what the Lord intends, that all things be used for good for those who love Him and walk according to His purpose.  So keep the faith and do not be led astray by the whispers of satan the flesh telling you that this doctrinal pronouncement is correct.  It is heresy clear and simple and if you follow that path it leads no where but to the steps of Hades.  Jesus Christ is the only door to God.  No one comes to the Father but through belief and faith in Jesus.  Remember God said that even if an angel tells you about about another gospel other than the true Gospel of Jesus don’t believe him.  And that is exactly what is occurring an angel, a fallen one, satan is propagating this babble to invalidate the work of Christ and lead as many to hell with him as possible.

Praise You Lord, that in Your Grace, Mercy and Love You saw it necessary to come here and redeemed those who would be saved.  You extended that Grace to the entirety of mankind but also set the constraint that only those who believed in Jesus would be washed free of their sins and redeemed to Your Glory.  Thank you for the clear Gospel that is spoken in Spirit and in Truth for all of humanity to obey or put aside.  That choice makes it each person’s decision as to where they spend eternity.  I know that nothing is happening that is outside of Your Sovereignty, therefore I understand that this man must do what he has done in order to further Your Plan.  I do pray that as many as hear that they disobey his folly and realize that You are the Way the Truth and the Life and turn their hearts to You.  I pray that his words fall idle on the ears of our youth and that they worship You.  Praise You Lord for Your Mercy and Grace.  Jesus Name be Praised as the only Way to God.  Amen.

Outsmarted

Why would you use eight words when one was enough?  A single note sung so clear that all who hear know that God is listening.  Does my walk make everyone talk but it really doesn’t do anything for Jesus?  Bending, standing, serving, waiting, holding, helping, having patience for those who’ve never seen it.  Did you mean it, the words you said or are you looking for a place to hide, deep inside to avoid having to stand by them?  At least they stood and fought, caring and sharing the fears, doubts and misunderstanding that led them to folly.  It is simple he said, this thing in my head, but my mouth can’t seem to explain it.  Let’s hum it again and when we get to the end we simply have to refrain it.

Children speak truth without additive.  Rain washes clear all intentions, no one stands in the mud intentionally without reason.  That is why we start out young because everything looks so big, but life is simple, you just want to please your parents and get love.  Returning to that mindset is imperative for surrender to God’s purpose for our lives.  We just have to hold on and believe, standing in the face of calamity armed with nothing but faith.  When reason abandons all, God will not change.  He is simply Truth without additive, that is why children know Him closely and hear His voice so clearly.

It is so tiring being so clever.  Trying to outsmart the house game using statistics that never give in to the visitor.  I know that when danger is discerned it is not wise to proceed.  But what about the man who plays it so safe that He forgets to breathe and smothers for his caution?  The Lord meant us for life not to make sure every box was checked and verified.  I am designed for work not for incessant boredom and that is why I am certain that I am serving my own plan.  Doing God’s work never tires or bores a man.  Lord, show me the way to become ready for the next station, the next job, tasking or battle.  My back, heart and mind are Yours forever.  Praise God with Jesus’ Name upon my lips.  Amen.

Natural

Can fishermen feel the tide, tugging, pulling, telling them that it is time to come in or go out to sea?  Why did the Lord go to these men, steeped in natural understanding, having made there living from the lake or ocean?  What unique gifts or understanding did they possess which made them the best possible choice for disbursing the Truth of the Gospel?  Is discipleship really similar to fishing, using your natural senses to “sound” the waters for bounty, testing what lay beneath the surface with some sort of spiritual understanding and mastery of practical application?  What made fishermen and shepherds the appropriate example of what it meant to be a servant of the Most High God?  Perhaps it was there attentiveness or their dedication to duty or maybe even their willingness to deal practicably with those forces seeking to limit their success.  It is not that I am confused but rather attempting to inject some questioning surrounding this subject.

These men and women understood specifically that their blessings came from God.  They had a unique understanding of the impacts of changes in climate, topography, threats both natural and man made.  They uniquely understood that a man could do everything in his power to become prosperous, effective and successful and still come up empty.  Yet they knew that personal attention to detail and work ethic were an essential part of God’s Blessings.  They knew that man could not just sit by the roadside or keep his boats in port and simply wait for the Blessings to come.  They understood that tending the flock or casting of nets is a man doing “his” part of the successful process of being Blessed by God.  They understand specifically the difference between “works” and blessing and knew how to properly balance the tasks of life with faith in Christ.  They also knew, as a farmer knows that every worker is essential to the final successes of the whole.  Knowing that the Lord chose these people specifically for their natural discernment it is also natural that the enemy would try and reduce their respect in the process of human health.  That is why it is a lowly thing now to be shepherd, fisherman or farmer, when in fact they are blessed with a unique understanding of God’s intention.

These people also knew to test the wind for coming changes making it necessary to take action.  The tide, the wind, dangers and the lack of resources caused the to react intuitively to make changes so as to avoid calamity.  We as Christians share this discernment, as we have the scriptures telling us to remain vigilant, “on watch”, discerning, ready, watching, waiting, preparing for His return.  We too are to be testing the wind and the weather for changes in the tide.  Such changes are palpable now and if you are not feeling the tug of the tide upon your heart and spirit, then you should be concerned.  The storm looms just beyond the mountain and when it sweeps down the valleys it will come swiftly, not leaving time for preparation after the clouds of rain arrive.  The fall approaches, the leaves darkens and wind freshens against our skin telling that change is come.  Applying the practical and natural understanding of a fisherman, shepherd or farmer we would all be taking action right now that I do not see Christians taking.  What then are we to think if we do not see obedient hearts in the Body of Christ?

Oh, Blessed Father, awake our hearts, minds, feet and hands so that we may take necessary action to prepare for the coming storm, danger and change.  Let us sleep no longer, shatter our silence if necessary so that we may slumber no longer as there is much work to be done.  Give us a heart for preparation and attendance, to that sheep may be fed, storehouses filled and fish brought in to dry for the coming winter.  Let us collect the pure waters so that our thirst may be quenched for eternity.  Write Your Word upon our hearts so that when asked righteousness pours forth from the wellspring of our spirit.  Your Will Be Done.  Christ the King of Glory.

Line of Demarcation

Isaiah 17 NIV

A prophecy against Damascus: “See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins.  The cities of Aroer will be deserted and left to flocks, which will lie down, with no one to make them afraid.  The fortified city will disappear from Ephraim, and royal power from Damascus; the remnant of Aram will be like the glory of the Israelites,” declares the LORD Almighty.  “In that day the glory of Jacob will fade; the fat of his body will waste away.  It will be as when reapers harvest the standing grain, gathering the grain in their arms—as when someone gleans heads of grain in the Valley of Rephaim.  Yet some gleanings will remain, as when an olive tree is beaten, leaving two or three olives on the topmost branches, four or five on the fruitful boughs,” declares the LORD, the God of Israel.  In that day people will look to their Maker and turn their eyes to the Holy One of Israel.

They will not look to the altars, the work of their hands, and they will have no regard for the Asherah poles and the incense altars their fingers have made.  In that day their strong cities, which they left because of the Israelites, will be like places abandoned to thickets and undergrowth.  And all will be desolation.  You have forgotten God your Savior; you have not remembered the Rock, your fortress.  Therefore, though you set out the finest plants and plant imported vines, though on the day you set them out, you make them grow, and on the morning when you plant them, you bring them to bud, yet the harvest will be as nothing in the day of disease and incurable pain.

Woe to the many nations that rage—they rage like the raging sea!  Woe to the peoples who roar—they roar like the roaring of great waters!  Although the peoples roar like the roar of surging waters, when he rebukes them they flee far away, driven before the wind like chaff on the hills, like tumbleweed before a gale.  In the evening, sudden terror!  Before the morning, they are gone!  This is the portion of those who loot us, the lot of those who plunder us.

Do you see the importance and current application of the Word of God delivered by Isaiah, a prophet who was known to have never been wrong?  Have we seen this occur anywhere in history where Damascus has become a ruinous heap?  Look it up, ask the historians.  Damascus is the oldest continually inhabited city of the this world and Isaiah prophecies that it will be uninhabitable.  When will this come to pass.  Has there ever been a time when chemical/biological or nuclear weapons existed in such quantity as to make such a  city ruinous?  Let us take a realistic look into the near future and we must wholeheartedly admit that we stand on the precipice of possibility.

The current saber rattling, posturing, politicking and second guessing is placing dangerously close to an episode that would leave Damascus in shambles.  God is foretelling the coming judgment against the City of Damascus and the ancient peoples of Syria for their trespasses against the Jewish Nation and consistent pillaging of the Jewish People.  All this will come about so that people will once again turn their eyes toward God, abandoning the symbols of idol worship and the power of royalty and kings.   The Lord will leave those trembling few so that they may choose to turn back to God, the rest will be lost to “sudden terror, disease and incurable pain, some tossed as chaff on the hills or tumbleweed at the coming storm.  I understand that people would want to take a positive look at the options going forward.  But those who believe that the Bible is God’s Inerrant Word must acknowledge the line upon we currently reside.  The end of Damascus nears and Egypt is in turmoil, the other part of the prophecies in the Book of Isaiah following Chapter 17.  We must prepare our hearts for what is coming and pray for the peace in Jerusalem.

God told us what must come to pass so that we might see that He stands Omnipotent, outside of time, knowing the end from the beginning.  He showed what we will see in the coming days, months, weeks and years so that we would have faith and prepare our hearts and minds for His Glorious Appearing.  I don’t know when Damascus will fall, but I know that it will.  I don’t know when Egypt will be conquered by Israel, but it will. Praise be to Jesus Christ

My Prayers

I pray to have the mind of Christ.  That I see this world not as it is but as it should be.  My faith grows when I think of how the Lord would deal with these seemingly insurmountable issues.  He would be thoughtful, seeking quiet counsel in Spirit and prayer, taking time to be by himself upon the mountain, hill or garden.  He would seek the right timing at which to present the right words to address the exact thinking or actions needing adjustment.  He would patiently wait until others brought forth the delusion, misunderstanding, accusation, wrong or wicked practices.  Then He would speak clearly in Truth, Love and Authority proclaiming the correct way to think, believe and act.  In the process He may have unleashed a miracle by multiplying scarce resources or correcting deformity to bring Glory and Honor to God.  He feared nothing for He could see beyond time and was quiet, comfortable and assured in the knowledge of what would come to pass, even the victory which included His loss of life.  I cannot see defeat if God promised to use all that I have done to the Good of His Will.  There is no defeat in that.

Where does my talent end?  What is that thing which is beyond my ability, gift, strength or treasure?  That is the thing I seek to do, because it guarantees concentration upon God and not upon me.  Yes it may require or be defined as miracle which will invariably grasp the worship of those who pursue baubles, gold and supernatural occurrence, but there will be others who see and honor God through His use of me as conduit for His Will.  How many people could I feed if residing in the mind of Christ?  How many sick may I heal, wars may I avert or crops may I water?  What is beyond me steeped in the mind, authority and Spirit of the Lord Jesus, Nothing?  That is where my prayer must begin, driven by His authority, His desire, His Will, His Power, His Mercy, Grace and Truth.  I am simply the vessel for the Word and Water of God.

Where will this take me, I do not know?  It produces a sensibility that seems to be a combination of emotion, peace, knowledge and faith.  A place I have never been before in my walk.  I do not know the circumstances, but I do know what this walk will produce, Glory to God, Revelation of His Name.  Father, I may not know the entire story, but I do not need to know.  I am comfortable in that walking for You will produce such results beyond my own capacities and undoubtedly lead hearts to You through belief in Christ.  Show me those things I am not currently aware of, let me be at the right place and time to produce those results You seek by acting as an ambassador of Your Good Will.  Give me peace that surpasses worldly understanding so that they may see glimpses of You through my action.  Let me pray for those things which are beyond me, so that they cannot deny Your name.  To You be all the Glory, honor and praise, my King.  In Jesus’ Name.

My God

I have been thinking of the charades that we all put on to protect our weaknesses.  Rather than facing our fears and cleaning out old wounds we develop new wounds, or callouses to protect the indefensible.  Where pride lingers often insecurity lay not too deep below the surface hiding, protected by false bravado and gifted by attention.  Many times I want to cry but the straw man having no emotion feels no need of sadness, love, pain or delight, he simply is, concealing the sensitivity of reality, isolated, safe and dry.  I see many determine that they hold the key to storytelling, judgment and faith.  Nothing outside their understanding can possibly be pleasing to God, so they denounce every gift external to their sense of righteousness.  All this done to conceal the wicked nature of their own sinful breast, a man seated inside who condemns the world and in so doing pronounces himself sane, sanctified and safe.

This world is lost not because it cannot see the truth but because it does everything possible to hide from the painful, soul-shaking reality of the truth.  That truth that we have no power, authority, ingenuity or possession capable of setting us free.  That all power and authority is external to us, stripped down we are shameful, naked, cold, tired and helpless.  Daily convincing ourselves that if we can get a certain amount of food, dollars, beer, attention or sex that we will have conquered the reality we seek to cage eternally.  This masquerade is not life but killing time waiting for the inevitable death that faces all men.  There is not one person I have met that doesn’t have something to protect, hide, shield, conceal or just plain ignore, hoping that if the knowledge remains their own that somehow it all becomes nil.  That somehow the nothing that became everything will suddenly return them to a zero status freed of history, shame and guilt, eternally void.

I am a sinner, I am not proud of it but that remains the truth,no matter how much I wish it were not.  I can dress myself up, and recreate my character in altered geographies, jobs, relationships and education levels but a sinner I remain.  That is until I met Christ, until he set me free from my charade and slavery to unrighteousness.  Now I don’t have to hide the weaknesses, wounds and shame, they are simply taken away by the Spirit of God Living inside of me, cleaning me from the inside out.  I am not afraid of my emotions, anger, fear, sadness, loneliness and shame are all indicators of where I stand in my daily walk with the Lord.  Just like the law they provide a mirror, telling me each day, the point upon the path where I currently reside.  They give me something to pray about, something to ask God for, and something to remind me of my humanity, but my own feelings are not something from which I should run.  They are assisting in my guidance, just as my conscience tells me what I know to be right and wrong.  They are ropes strung along the path to keep me straight even in times of darkness and doubt.  I may feel lost at times, but I “Know” that God is there and will never leave or forsake me.

Today I see men playing with fire, trying desperately to attempt something of which history will speak well of them.  I have to ask, if I fail though I gave it my all and reached my end, but at my last moment I unlocked the prison door for someone else or left example that allowed them to find Christ and be set free, was my effort a waste?  Let us even say that no one else saw a single moment of victory before I lay there perishing, my life to them, apparently invalid.  What then should I feel about myself?  Should I remember their perception or God’s Truth?  A man can only serve one authority, the struggle lay in the choice as to who will be sovereign, me or my God.

Lord You are delightful to a ravaged world.  Bring us judgment so that we may enter Your rest.  King Jesus, we await You.  Amen.

Crafted

Again they shall plant on the hills of Samaria, worshiping God and walking in fellowship with Him.  They were meant for that land.  They were given the land by the God, A Jealous God who loves His children and made them promises that were not dismissed by their wickedness.  He is the Righteous One and we are not, but through abiding in Him and He in us we may be accounted righteous.  These people will not perish even if they be pursued throughout the ages to come.  They were designed to be His inheritance and cannot totally fall for He will intervene.  When will His enemies understand their abuses are temporary for the Lord will smile again upon the Nation of Israel as if He had never had them disbursed to the four winds, or haunted by the sword.  Their trial was meant to glorify God as He delivers them when “all” else fails.

Jesus is coming, not as the giver of peace, to be mocked and tortured by the unrighteous for being innocent, pure and speaking unadulterated Truth.  He is come this time to bring Judgment with the seven stars in His Hand and the two edged sword of God’s Word upon His tongue.  Nothing can stand against truth, it severs, it cuts, it binds and it throws off chain of slavery to false gods, even though angels they be.  Christ is King and they know it, yet they have for a time convinced man of a falsehood.  That Glorious Day after many have suffered for their faith He will come and make it right.  The Earth shall fall at the Hand of the Potter, once again shaped by the image of His Palm and creative thought in His Mind.  I cannot fathom so intricate a task, I cannot understand the rhyme or reason for grace, judgment, the fall or my pride, but He Knows.  There is something built into these things called grace and glory and they are among the great and mighty things we have not yet known.

I look to today and see them weeping inside their hearts, tears running the walls of their self made cells.  Afraid of everything, yes even the light, for they know not the power and sanctification of forgiveness when washed clean by the Precious Blood of Jesus.  It took away the sins of the world, why then do we cling to them so.  Afraid to live free, having grown used to the shackles wrought in our own pursuit of fools gold and moissanite daydreams.  They flock to fear and avoid the waiting arms of Love, no tragedy is greater than the stubbornness of Man.

Don’t let us imprison ourselves any longer Father.  I pray that they be set free of these prisons named deception, mockery, foolishness and pride.  The enemy plays his role perfectly, I shall not mock him for I am but a man and I have no understanding of such things.  This I know, that You saw the need to step down from on High, to pronounce him defeated, to strip him of his authority over believers and to make clear Your intention to Judge him alongside mankind.  I do not know if he was necessary Lord, but as Your Word says that all serve the Lord our God then I must imagine in some way he too serves Your purpose.  If it be Your Will Father then we shall see him rebuked.  Lord show me how to save even one of these from going to eternal separation from You.  Make it so there is nothing more important in my life than saving them from that eternity.  Please allow me to bring Glory to your name and forget my own.

We all feel it even those who do not know You, Father.  They see that something has shifted, the season’s change nears, the denouement arrives.   Some rearrange the furnishings but they cannot seem to find comfort, peace, courage or strength.  Their legs buckle at the mention of possibility and they scurry for one last sip, bite or smoke.  Nothing soothes, nothing cools, nothing brings relief to the itch, pain or twinge.  Something is dis-aligned, as if light is no longer straight and water no longer quenches thirst.  We all see that something is coming, I know that the timing will be Divinely, Righteous and Perfect.  For Your Patience Has been a gift we cannot comprehend, but nonetheless we marvel at Your Majesty and Truth.  Praise God in All His Glory.  Jesus the Name Above All Names.

Think

It does not matter whose fault it is that we have arrived to this present circumstance.  It is irrelevant, the obstacles, proponents or objectors to this or that philosophy.  What matters is that the rule of Constitutional Democracy is re-established in this Nation.  Our greatest failure is that we declined to remember the warnings of our first President, the honorable George Washington and have gotten away from the Good Word of God as our Moral Compass.  A man does not have to believe in God in order to believe in the principles on which this nation was founded and prospered.  A man must commit to the ideal by which those principles guide us down a road of common care, support and selflessness in order for this nation to return to “greatness”.  Just as De Tocqueville warned, we have ceased being good and thus we have ceased being great.

We cannot continue to travel a path that ignores our blessings from God as “one” of the possibilities for our prosperity.  I get it that many of my fellow citizens wish to free themselves from the obligation placed upon humankind by God’s Word of choice and judgment.  I understand that the evolutionists must justify their philosophy by denying the existence of God and forcing that denial upon the rest of humanity.  To them if there is any other explanation for the creation of man other than shear chance it means that they will inevitably have to admit that God is in charge and that we are all going to have to face that final judgment in the eyes of a righteous God.  That is an end that most of humanity fears like the plague.  However their denial of God as “one” possibility for our national blessings has produced a spectrum of negative results that we can no longer ignore.  The consequences of getting away from God’s Law as a mirror to guide our national identity and behavior has produced a population of entitled, self-righteous, apathetic citizens who operate by self-rules and ethical moralities that do nothing to protect the common good.  A man may live free until in exercising his freedom he brings harm upon the nation to which he owes that freedom.

We must have a solid foundation and national ideal by which we temper and accept the differing opinions, beliefs and philosophies of our fellow citizens.  That set of principles is the “The Ten Commandments” given to Moses by God by which all humanity may judge their own actions to find a consistent framework by which to live a “good” life.  My personal belief that God should be praised and obeyed as He is the only God is not relevant to our national discussion.  Men are free in this nation to make their own choices upon which to believe, however they are not free to follow their own designed set of moral principles if those principles are detrimental to the continued well-being of this once great nation.  There is no other set of principles by which a nation may guide them that produces the greatest good, camaraderie and unity then the Ten Commandments.  It is just plain “smart” to follow them as our compass.  The detriment and folly of following other lamp posts has been proven.  The time of experiment has ended.  We must return to what worked for us in the beginning.

Stop the assault upon the Constitution.  Stop the assault upon the character of God and goodness and righteousness of His Word as a beacon for those seeking a good life.  We have strayed from  the principles that brought this nation global prosperity.  This President, the members of the Legislature and the Judiciary cannot consider themselves above the Will of the People to do so will foster our current decline and foster our eventual national implosion or destruction.  Please recognize the signs, warnings and mounting consequences of our inaction and continued folly.  Return “common sense” to its position of authority and allow once again our children to be taught the righteous principles of God as one possibility of their creation.  To deny them the teaching to which we owe our prosperity is to guarantee the incompleteness of their problem solving capacity and critical thinking.  We must know the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth in order to make continued good judgment.  Deprive our children no longer of the entire story, so that they may make rational judgments and choices to include choosing to follow the wisdom of God’s Law.  Let them know the entire history of the nation built upon the ideals of freedom that came from a belief in the endowments to all men granted by their Creator.

Hope

What is hope for you?  Are you hoping upon the next job, a new child for you and your spouse or maybe a little time away from the hubbub and wave after wave of overwhelming circumstance?  Do you hope that the world will right itself, that somehow a group of right-thinking leaders will come together with wisdom and produce some planning that when executed will allow us to live in relative harmony?  Are you praying that God comes or are you hoping that this generation will pass away before Prophecy’s judgment comes to pass?  Are you setting yourself up to face the coming rage that we all see is mounting within the race of man?

What is hope for you?  What lay below the surface of your belief?  When you dig what do you find in the garden of your own life?  Not only what is growing there but what is in the soil, and what holds up the firmament, the foundation upon which you have planted the seeds of this life?  What have you sown?  What do you hope to bring in at harvest?  Will it be fine grain, fruits and legumes that refresh to body, mind a spirit?  We all know that the composition of the soil and the purity of the water dictates what will grow and the health of that growth.  In each Christian’s life the water should be pure, having come from the fountain of the living waters, unless perhaps having been tainted by the words and doings of false teachers.  But what about the soil?  Is it laden with heavy metals, carcinogens, garbage and sewage?  Is it too full of rock so that there is no earth by which to take deep root?

What is hope for you?  Do you pray to stand on the day of battle, armored in the festoons of God’s protection, singing Hallelujah in the face of coming storm?  Do you dread all the fear and societal decay, paralyzed into cutting out what little fun you can have, sequestering your heart, your treasure and your love to the few and not the many?  What is it that you look forward to and what will you do when challenged by the enemy we all know has lurked beyond the edge of light?  How will you deal with the powers and principalities, prepared for millenia, waiting with our eternity in balance?

Hope for me is “belief in things not yet seen”, “things which must quickly come to pass” and in the multitude of promises given us by our Righteous King.  None of these depend upon me, which is probably my greatest hope and relief.  I prepare my way with knowledge of God’s Word of Prophecy, arming myself with wisdom, faith, truth, peace, love and salvation, knowing fully that I will make it through the fires and raging seas.  I hope in the soil that God has given at the center of my life and the dirt in to which I have sown the seed of God’s Word so that others may bring in their own vibrant crops.  I hope that the Word’s of encouragement I have spoken to Brothers, Sisters and to the Lost have brought them into relationship with Christ where they may find comfort, peace and strength.  I hope upon a God who has never failed, never lied and never left me standing alone on the field of battle or victory.

I trust in the hope of Christ the King, believing in His Will and that He has already overcome this world and “All” God’s enemies.  I hope to sit with Him and talk about the things I currently do not know and the work He has planned for me in eternity.  I hope upon my choice of this life which made me a witness to what is coming as we head into the next life.  Praise You Lord God.  There is no other hope but You.  Amen.

Unwound

The hearts of men have grown cold.  Love does not dominate any conversation, rhetoric rules in this secular society where it is illegal to teach children of their Maker.  They ramble wondering whose argument more effective forgetting that the one option they refuse to look upon is the answer to the dilemma.  The fact is that we have lost our moral compass in the nation and we wonder around on ground without a moral foundation based upon things like; goodness, righteousness, justice, faith, peace, love and truth.  The one thing that may save us is the only thing upon which we refuse to reflect.  Until we have a true committed desire to solve the problems, requiring an open minded review of all the causes, effects and potential solutions then we are doomed to follow paths dictated by intellectuals.

God is the only way to enlightenment, faith, truth and everlasting life.  There is no other road by which I may reach heaven except through faith and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ.  So simple it took only two sentences to explain the entire truth.  Unlike the laws men currently write that need thousands of pages through which legislators hope to “justify” their wisdom, even when they knowingly doubt their own resolution.  Faith in God does not require convincing argument or flowery speech, it requires a “heart” knowledge that God is our Creator and that He made the rules for His universe into which we were sown for His purpose.  Accepting that resolves a lot but it requires humility and understanding, the humility to understand that we are just players in His Plan.  That frightens, angers and paralyzes those who would have it defined any other way.

I do not wish to be in charge.  I am a sinner, probably as bad or worse than any other.  Left to  my own judgment, direction and desire I would make everyone around me stumble and make a mess of my life through pursuit of my own foolish agenda.  Sure I trust myself, I trust myself to do the wrong thing unless of course I exercise the only wisdom I possess and rely upon the Lord Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit to give me discernment and direction.  See I am a fool just as any other it is just that I am a graduated fool who understands that doing foolish things brings me pain, discomfort, discipline and poverty.  Maybe that makes me no longer a fool, but no matter what the label I still “know” in my head and heart that following Jesus and the Word of God’s Bible is the best method by which to live this life and assure a place in eternity, seated at the foot of God’s throne.

Don’t try to convince me of your intelligentsia, utopia or social theorem perfectas, because the divining of man will always by nature be at “most” second best.  The number of man is 6 and the number of God is 7.  There is a long way in between them, an infinite amount of points according to Aristotle.  We can never reach the perfection of God to which pride finds us driven.  He came to us to “Reveal” His Glory and Love for the Earth in His plan of redemption for the sins of all mankind.  There is no greater story.  No other way to Glory.  The Lord Jesus Christ, deserving of my praise.  Amen
