So easy to find that streak of mean. That incendiary center of rage turning to the page and finding the word Destroy typed over and over again for the rest of the book. What profit is found in an instant of blind, abnormal fiery eyed conscience that has nothing to do with memory but regret? I palm the grips, handles, choked up and found my swing then just, stopped. I heard His voice clear as day, “Son”.
What do disciples win if they resort to the drives and will of the men that died upon Calvary’s Cross with Christ Jesus? Are we not chasing an impossible dream of being transformed, born by heavenly seed. Did Christ swing bats, wield knives and aim projectiles as those who wished to conquer in peace, love and understanding? Certainly He punished men for turning Our Father’s house into a Casino of money changers.
He commands men to forgive that they themselves will be forgiven. How is this thought to be gained by offering up man centered rage without first considering forgiving our Brothers offenses. Yet, these days a man who once had this life rending rage in his own heart was called coward by those who would have me shoot first and discuss forgiveness after the destructive force these hands would most certainly create.
We are not cowards for making way for God’s Vengeance. You must certainly agree that the Creator has much greater power, authority and reason to exact judgment upon those in transgression? After all it is His Law they have broken, not my own. And in that law He tells me to make way for His execution of that Divine Judgment based upon their own admission of guilt and disobedience. This is what I believe to be truth.
I am here to stand for the flock and prepare them for what comes next including the Coming Kingdom of Christ Jesus. Yes, I protect and keep shepherds watchful eye upon them but even I must sleep. God does not and He loves them infinitely more than I am able. Not to ignore that He has a Host of Heavenly Angels to look out after them when I am otherwise indisposed. Am I to trust my own rage filled protective base?
No I am here to love and find the most drastic transgressions occur in the moment I fail to remember that simple fact. We as Christians are here to live out the life of Christ that He offered as sacrifice for all mankind that we may show the light, the example and the Word of God that they may realize in an instant how much they are Loved.
