Epiphanot

There is freedom, even if is a lengthy discussion with myself about a place where I wish to live.  Times of trouble intrinsically test the limits and ardor of our endurance factors.  If I have taken no time to prepare and even less to contemplate it is tragically apparent my resultant outcome.  Learning to dance is a parlay of forgiveness and joy as we step upon toes, hip check and meander around a crowded room wearing a groove in the carpet or flooring.  These are not the days to be a wanderer, for pilgrims wear a target to those who have staked out defensive position for the assault they technically believe is way over do.  What then are the components of freedom?  It must be a planned event, not occurring naturally in the dog eat dog of secular man.  Is it so simply born of the hope of a group of collective men yearning for some semblance of self-understanding and empowerment?  Or is it the natural occurrence of men subjected to tyranny and oppression for considerable time and determined to never again allow such result?

Do I want to be free so badly that I am willing to march into the teeth of cast iron incarceration to liberate those stuck hopelessly behind the iron clenches of power drunk men?  For I may not live without the knowledge, commitment and agreement between all men that we are going to protect that liberty, for to immediately close our eyes and lay down our defenses leads immediately to the same low point in the flooring.  So freedom is a plan born of hope in release from tyranny and freedom is a shared commitment to defend that liberty of others while they protect yours.  What then of freedom’s future, since it has been proven a thing of past planning and current defense?

The future of men living free, secure in the wisdom and peace armed with solid and reasonable assumption that their lives, property, family and lands shall remain outside the grasp of wanton and wicked is the cornerstone of liberty.  Yet how is this perpetuated to develop that lengthy understanding and surety required to maintain freedom out to some distant time calculated by sight and projection?  The Youth, they are the key to freedom, for they some day will be the protectors of that device if is to be lasting or God help us eternal.  For we are mortal and looking beyond our own expiration requires investment in the administrators and defenders of our liberty that we loved and hope that they shall as well.  What then is the assault point of any enemy hoping to end the successive freedoms given us by hope, defense and investment?  The Youth.

  1. Heartfelt. That is the word that came to me while reading. Now I need to admit…that I had to look up the title word – Epiphanot. Totally new to me. Most words I can tear apart and figure out from years of Latin. But this time, my next step would be to looked it up. I sometimes look up words that I believe I know, to see if I’m really understanding the comprehensive meaning that an author is trying to express. You learn so much each and every day when you keep your eyes, ears and heart focused and open to Our Almighty Father.
