Inevitable

It would probably benefit me most to remain silent, but not with respect to the economies of God.  What enhances me personally, making this life safe, may be in fact the exact opposite of God’s intention and will for this man’s life.  You see the Bible does not speak all, “warm and fuzzy” about the future of humanity.  Certainly it ends well for those who believe, but for those who refuse, deny or resist faith in God through Christ the end is horrific and final.  Additionally, I would like to say that believers and the nation of Israel are well treated, their faith delivering all from the disaster which must certainly come to all men.  But that is not what God’s Word reflects.  We are all to be delivered, saved, protected from death and Hades.  That does not mean we shall not suffer in this life on our journey to eternal life with God.  This more closely reflects the Truth of God’s Word.  War is coming, pestilence, famine, death, cataclysms beyond our wildest imagination, the type for which a man’s mind may not make proper preparation.  According to the Book of Revelation, Ezekiel, Isaiah and other Books of God’s Prophetic Word, Rome may indeed be set aflame, Damascus may become uninhabitable, Israel may defend its territory and expand to the original boundaries declared by God, but find themselves besieged by a much greater coalition led by Russia.  Glory be to God Almighty, that all this leads to the return of Christ to set this world right for all eternity.  Should I remain silent of this Truth, keeping myself convinced of my relatively safety?

Beloved, God’s Plan unfolds before us.  The lines of battle are being clearly declared.  There after all are only two sides, those for God and those against.  Our population has grown to the point where leaders will eventually think themselves altruistic by culling those without, the holders of lesser gene or circumstance, for this has always been the doctrine of the communal.  They will convince themselves of the nobility of their decisions to starve, kill, eradicate entire populations, based upon a self created fallacy.  A false king, false savior, indwelt by satan himself shall be provided in answer to our ungodly prayers for false salvation.  Our great need sponsored by war, pestilence, greed, fear and allegiance to worldly, sensory gratification, those against God Almighty will declare this spawn of the damned, king of this world.  He will hate the Jews and seek to obliterate their heritage after building, then violating their Holy places, through the desecration of abomination.  Our hope may only reside in one of two places, in God through Christ Jesus where men will find eternal salvation or in the fallen; angel, demon and man where all will be judged, punished and eternally separated from the Creator.

The church would have me play house, dispelling the truth that confronts humanity, contented in our fellowship halls, with swelling pride and larger bellies.  The world would have me silenced and afraid, fearing damage or loss of wealth and social station if I adhere to the Truth that resides in God’s Holy Word.  The enemy would have me petrified, paralyzed, convinced of my inadequacies or worse yet dedicated to the realization of my own will.  Oh, but for God’s Will I would be lost to one of these three palsied paths.  I am bound for glory, intent on telling everyone about Christ, standing in the face of certain tyranny, persecution and pressure.  This is not my home, it is the ground of my testing, the field of sanctification, preparation for my eternal station, in the presence of God.  The time of the gentiles is rapidly coming to close and soon God shall turn His face solely upon His beloved Israel, purifying, preparing and protecting her for eternity as He promised.  The time of our efficacy is NOW, praying, fasting, discipling, loving and caring for those who might be saved.  Pray for peace in Jerusalem, act in your neighborhood, dispelling the idea that somehow you must be a professional clergyman or missionary to tell people about Christ.  You don’t need money, you don’t need a degree, you don’t need public speaking prowess, you only need Jesus, Love and a Testimony built upon discernment gained from Bible study, prayer and fellowship with the Holy Spirit.  These things cost you nothing but faith and dedication where partnership with this world, requires everything.

We all know what must be done, Glory to God it is the free-will choice He has given us that will launch access to victory or defeat.  I pray that we all begin today, serving God with every ounce of our talent, time and treasure.  The stakes are high, the rewards everlasting.  Choose Christ, choose now, act upon the faith that calls your heart to prayer and fellowship with God.  In Jesus’ Holy Name.

The Words

http://www.wnd.com/2014/12/official-russia-plotting-to-start-war-on-israel/ If you don’t know about Biblical prophecy concerning Russia’s involvement with Israel, then please take a few minutes to read Ezekiel 38 &39 and ask your pastor about Gog/Magog.

Having just crossed the point of no return we long for sight of shore, but still have not come to grips with meters truth.  What then shall we tell our children of a tomorrow that does not exist within the scope of probability?  We have denied, ignored and chuckled as each warning indicated future’s folly, our guiding light.  What poor choices remain in the realm of suggestion, hoping desperately for the arrival of some charismatic leader to save us from a certain destiny, perhaps?  What then does the Bible suggest will be given us, a proud generation, wicked, lacking reason, faith or miracle?  Certainly, we shall be given exactly that for which we have rallied, cheered and demanded, independence from God, in the moment when we can least withstand His absence.

That which is yet to come for the purpose of fortifying our faith God has foretold.  Would it puzzle you to see that I worry not for the future of humanity?  To me there is no unknown, I am not at the mercy of that nebulous, chaotic realm of what is yet to come, to me God has made all things clear.  You see we have been praying for so long, “Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven”, without remembering in faith that God answers prayer.  His will is what comes next, for we have through negligence, ignorance and disobedience forgotten to seek God’s wisdom and counsel and thus face a future full of earned consequence for self service.  Yes, rejoice for the harvest approaches and the gathering of souls will be immeasurable, but also mourn for those whose time is shortly come in realizing eternal separation from God.  Lord, I cannot imagine my mind ever being free of that painful thought of my friends and family alike having missed the opportunity to choose eternity.  Forgive us Father, lead us to the protection of Your Righteous Shadow.

Jesus repeated that this wicked generation would be given no sign but that which was shown Jonah.  In review what did Jonah know about the future?  Jonah knew that God was going to judge a particular segment of humanity, a group of people that Jonah loathed, an undeserving nation, that God would see saved from His wrath.  The only sign that Nineveh was given was the Word of God delivered by a reluctant prophet, bidding them repent immediately, fasting in humility and beg God for pardon or they would soon be judged.

How is our circumstance any different?  Would the prophet Jonah look upon America with love and intercessory prayer or would he consider us a wicked, disobedient nation, guilty and deserved of God’s wrath?  If we are honest in our analysis and evaluation we can come to no other conclusion than we are the people of Nineveh who have only one choice left, repent and seeks God’s face in humility and prayer or face certain, imminent, inevitable judgment forthwith.  Toward the purpose of providing content amenable to those who do not count America’s behavior equivalent to Nineveh.  I then must ask you to place yourself in Jonah’s sandals for one moment.  Which country/nation do you abhor, for their wickedness, their unconscionable actions or their departure from Divine guidance?  Which country do you dislike so much in your own judgment that you would disobey God’s direction to warn them of certain judgment?  Then accept God’s command to go now and warn them for this is our charge as Christians.

For those who have ears to hear let them hear what the spirit says to the churches.  For them who will hear, repent and pray there is forgiveness, salvation and everlasting life with God found only in the Name of Jesus Christ the King.  We will be given no sign other than the Word that God gave to Jonah.  I pray that we head those words right now for the future is certainly upon us.

Having set a course that leads to abandon, we can now only hang on to face the rogue waves of our certain future or immediately, authentically and humbly appeal to the mercies of God’s Grace.  The choice remains, set adrift for eternity or attached to God, the Rock of Ages who does not waver, fail, fade or change.  We ought not seek the face of a worldly charismatic leader to bring us out of our self-imposed spiral, for this world will be given just such a leader who is the spirit of antichrist.  That foul, indwelt man will be given dominion over the Earth to usher in God’s judgment to produce nothing but the war, pestilence, famine and death reserved for the wicked.  Oh but glory be to God on high, that in His everlasting mercy this Earth shall be delivered from this unholy spirit and returned to the Righteous Hand of a Holy, Almighty and Powerful God who will rule in justice, strength and Righteousness forever and forever, Amen.  Come soon Lord Jesus, but if You may please tarry a bit, so that we might tell those who will hear of Your Glory, that they too might be saved.

Cry out to God

How many times did David fall to his knees in desperation, fully acknowledging and proclaiming to Almighty God that without Divine intervention he would certainly have perished?  With absolute clarity David knew there was nothing that could be done apart from God.  This factor was repeatedly emphasized in David’s worship music, poetry and prayers to God seen throughout the early Old Testament.  It is instructive to consider that the only lasting troubles with which David contended were always preceded by his lack of inquiry of God’s Will.  When David acted on his “own” understanding, he always ran into trouble from which he arose crying out to God for assistance.  Considering these factors it is safe to assume that asking and following God’s direction is always the best course of action, especially for those of us eager to avoid temptation, sin and disaster.

My admiration for David lay in his steadfast faith in the promises of God.  Sure there are those who will always point out his human failings, and this is rightful, as God would have us learn from our Brother’s grave mistakes in departure from God’s Will.  However, we should fairly look upon David’s knowledge, belief and dependance on Almighty God for every good thing that came to him, his family and the Nation of Israel.  David also understood his own shame, knowing that God would forgive him in his humility and repentance, that the sins of a Father may last for generations.  I so much look forward to speaking with David and loving him for the stance that he took in defense of the faith.  I may not avoid my own fall from Grace, but with reflection and remembrance of David’s misgivings, I have a greater opportunity to avoid sin and shame.  Thanks be to God for the knowledge He has provided through review of the lives of prophets, kings, saints and unbelievers.

Those of us in disaster must follow David’s example and cry out to God for mercy, intervention and succor.  There is no salvation but God through Jesus Christ.  Often I weep seeing Christians who have yet to give up on their steadfast independence and self reliance.  I feel that God must be waiting on so many of us to surrender.  It is a travesty to see Christians who will not cry out to the Father to heal them from illness, save them from circumstances, provide strength through wisdom or feed their hungry bodies and spirit.  The Lord is waiting for us to give up and seek His guidance, love, mercy, provision and grace.  We must remember that we serve a patient God to whom a thousand years is but a day.  We do not have that same luxury.  My advice is learn from David’s devout dependance on God and his catastrophes when he neglected to seek God’s Will, both pointing toward the same wisdom in consulting, crying out to and obeying God’s direction.  I see your pain, suffering and frustration, I too once denied my resistance to God’s Will.  Please cry out to God for relief, He is faithful to complete the work that He started in each of us, work that can never be done without His intervention.

Father, this is Your life I am living.  Have Your way, guide me, teach me and deliver me to freedom through wisdom, grace and hope in Your Loving Kindness.  Forgive me for the times I set out on my own path, especially those where I avoided Your counsel.  Let me never stray from this blessed relationship.  Don’t allow me to make mistakes that will have lasting impact upon my children and their children’s children.  Let me be remembered as a man after Your Heart.  In Jesus’ Name I pray.

Evil creeps

After decades of most good men doing nothing we are faced with excess evil.  It is not as if we turned our heads and were taken by surprise, but it is in the nature of evil to deceive and ebb slowly, creeping, saturating, polluting all innocence and righteousness.  Words like slithering, creeping and eerie describe the stylistic, political or strategic approach of evil.  What we now face in this nation only has one cure, repentance with a collective cry of all believers to God Almighty to intervene for America.  2 Chronicles 7:14 sets forth God’s requirement for healing a covenant nation, which begins, “If my people who are called by My Name“.  I need go no further for God has immediately stipulated, twice, in this one statement that it is incumbent upon “Christians” to cry out in humility for God’s intervention.  The enemy is delighting in widespread wickedness because we as Christians will not join together in humility and repentance, turning our faces to God so that He might hear and heal this land.  This has always been the method by which the Lord shook awake His people, by allowing evil to gain a foothold and eventually overrun the faithful.

Evil has creeped into America’s Societal norms.  I am sure there are many who would like to discuss exactly when that process began, but none would argue that something which started out with righteous and holy intent is now near-hopelessly corrupt.  For those who were never taught the sponsoring faith of our Founders, as the schools have been relegated to the stewardship of atheistic or evolutionary unbelievers, please check out the wide list of direct quotes regarding their position on Sovereign Authority in the United States.  http://www.usachristianministries.com/us-history-quotes-about-god-and-the-bible/

Instantly recognizable names; George Washington, Samuel Adams, John Adams, Patrick Henry, John Jay, Benjamin Rush, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, etc…. and their clear belief in God’s Grace and Providence being the foundation and causality for America’s continued health and prosperity, provides consistent eye-opening evidence to the lies being proffered in our schools and public institutions.  Yet, we have allowed this to occur.  We have idly stood by and allowed the contamination, adulteration and intoxication of America.  Shall we now remain idle in dire times or join together in collective prayer to Almighty God for intervention?

It is sad to see our current leaders, arrogantly assured that they know best, then just as quickly blame others when their genius plans fail or stand up the next straw man to provide a idea which is more genius than the last.  They have forgotten their way for they are not beginning the entire process with humility and dependence upon God.  Gone is the firm reliance upon Divine Providence which directed this country’s straight and unyielding path.  I pray for our leaders as they have been appointed by God, but I also see that we have received unbelieving, duplicitous men, men of weak character, leaders for a nation who has turned its back on the God who blessed them.  Will we wake up in time to turn things around?  I personally see no evidence of this “national revival” in the Bible, but all things are possible to them who believe.  The question is do we want it enough?  Have we suffered sufficient national pain, suffering or sin misery to collectively repent?  It remains to be seen, but I know this, if we who call ourselves by His Name do not begin to cry out for the need of such national repentance it shall never occur, for God has provided the guidelines for such Divine National healing, and it begins with us.
