Did you ever do your very best, not to win trinkets or bragging rights but for the whole, everlasting increase? Bounty beyond measure, territories fully resized, blessed and over-flowing?

Have you missed the mark by giving half your heart, strength, soul and mind? Boldly but hypocritically proclaiming that you left it all on the horizon, every drop, but fully knowing even when no one else noticed that you kept some in reserve.

Can we stop and really have a heart to heart for a moment? Is there a circumstance, issue or outcome in life for which you would dedicate or give up everything? That is the moment of truth by trial, that most never even conceive never mind achieve.

What are we doing here if we are simply living half-way? What is abundant life except those moments when you gave it all and remember the feeling of being fully engaged, having laid all upon the line for something worth more than a trophy?

I don’t need to explain the things worth this much effort, talent and time. You know, we all know but so few will show that level of dedication or commitment. Why? What is it in the few that show the many forever that they never really lived?

I am sorry Lord for the times that You have provided opportunities that were perhaps several times in a lifetime only to see me go half speed, power and principle. That doesn’t sit right in my mind. In fact, all those trials I faced for the enemy just to have a clear opportunity and walk away is tragic.

I don’t want tragic to be my conclusion. This is the time for which I was made. Let me prepare, employ and empty ever tank, thought, talent and measure of blessing knowing fully there is nothing else worthy of my commitment.

Things don’t work out in miracle because we came to show them something. They work out in miracle because we came to show them God, Everything. Lord let me never leave something in the tank when to deploy it brings Glory to Your name.
