There will always be voices and whispers from the dark spaces. Hearing them and listening are two utterly divergent disciplines. They natter for effect. Only open ears will continue to receive the deluge of indifference and disobedience to righteousness. What manner of defense do you perceive is sufficient to silence or cauterize their solicitation?

Does your story include a review of the daily sleights, angers, punishment and subjection? If the kitbag often needs emptying, then how is it so rapidly filled? The focused concentration upon the victimization and relieving myself of onslaught means that I have place in my psyche that is susceptible and stores the bores and tortures of this world. If these are not sponsored by dark whisper than who is choosing to store these as burden?

Walking in freedom and changing to avoid the weighty dilemmas of circumstance are synonymous. Love and transformation are offered with choice of acceptance. Remaining where we are is possibly the single greatest obstacle to perfection and a semblance of worldly success. Failure to let go of the dock ends the journey to the unknown and greatly desired. We must have courage to become something other than we are while understanding where we are is the thing we most wish to change.

I am not discouraging a psychological review of your internal topography. However, simple self help is not an answer to the true question we all ask ourselves. Do I want to be set free from the burdens of this world, achieve wholeness and peace while building relationship with my maker to discover the avenue to the life hereafter? Ask yourself. do you know the impacts of youth upon your neural pathways that are outside of your correction through contemplation and right living? The transformation we seek is not achievable by self, just as entry into heaven is not within man’s bargaining, pleading or effort of self-justification.

The only way to eternal life is found in God. The only way back to God for humanity is found in Christ Jesus as He paid the debt of sin we owed God, that could not be overlooked. The only method to transformation, access and seal for eternity is found in the Holy Spirit. The only one who can make the choice of this path or the insufficient journey of self apotheosis is found in the merciful and gracious authority of Choice in Free Will.

So in free will we get to choose to give up our will in pursuit of those things beyond us or subject ourselves the dark whispers and worldly controls that never could have healed us or provided pathway to eternal life. Some things are simple but so hard. Made so by our unwillingness to let go of the harbor of our inadequate thinking. Choose Life, Found only in Christ.
