They told me that the universe had heard their cries and provided understanding and resolution to their dilemma. I love people so I didn’t ask which universe, or did the universe have a phone number or just how did the universe think and respond to their requests? Instead I listened with seriously intention of understanding for I don’t listen to people waiting for them to take a breath in order to provide them with the benefit of my grand wisdom. I truly wish to hear what they have to say, what they think and how they see the universe. Apparently they see the Universe as some unnamed God that knows needs and provides good and bad outcomes based on karmic karmamonitor that determines our worth.

They told me there are perfect frequencies and that these frequencies when reached indicate the transition to a new world. Accordingly there must be planetary or stellar alignments and we must have achieved a certain mantra to be included in these transitions but that is all determined by some destructive or creative entities that may only be reached through either dying or taking a potent mixture of psychedelic medicines and herb. Coincidentally, I remember reading this matched some Buddhist, Hindu, Mayan, Aztec, Egyptian and other mythology/religion and thought to myself that doesn’t seem too pleasant to have to die to transform, take drugs or somehow reach some period of evolutionary equipping. But you always want to love the person not judge the story, so I listened intent upon understanding their purpose and direction. What I found was a quest for power, magic, wisdom and transhuman hopefulness.

They told me of a God who doesn’t love but expects pristine obedience, even to the point of authorizing prevarication and killing to achieve total compliance to demand. They told me of beatings, duties, mercy killings and enforced prayer to show humility and allegiance. I saw the efficacy of their system reflected in the power businesses and government that they sponsored with a authority that would not be challenged or compromised. I saw the fear of women and children who not meet my gaze and the brutal tyranny of terrorists and militias that used ruthless action to demand absolute obedience. I so wanted to understand and to love so I looked for the peace of it all and found little. I found Kind human hearts and was pleased to love the people while being truly puzzled by the system.

They didn’t need God for they would conquer the world themselves. Yet they called me weekly to complain, cry and worry about the problems that they themselves could never transcend. I heard their belief that somehow they would find the path to glory and a realization that the world did in fact match their understanding, but today was not that day. They expressed the monetary, fame and relationship dominance goals where people of similar understanding and self focus would come together out of natural collective bonding to form a society built on mutual admiration and trust. Their stories of needing no one or no help may have rang true in their courageous expression but I wept for them internally as I had seen the depth of despair weekly.

I wanted to help, but it wasn’t from me that they needed anything other than my love and understanding. So, I understood and loved. Then one day it happened the attempt to love and understand bore in them a question. The question one of my own perspective which none of them had inquired. I told them of my God and His plan for salvation having determined before time that each of us is so precious HE had to provide a bridge back to relationship and fellowship with Him. For the first time they listened as asked the Spirit for the Powerful Words to reach their hearts for Jesus. All wept, even me, as they realized all these years we have been sitting together as they expressed their quest for understanding that I had found the Way, the Truth and Life through Jesus Christ Their King.
