Matter, the tangible part of the universe, but have you ever considered that space is so much larger than the mass of pebbles within it? We move about in our skin suits at any time displacing or taking up a finite amount of the seemingly infinite space between us. Does the space flow with us, does it give way or break as an opening envelope to allow us to enter in to that space? Does the space control us since its outline defines our area of occupation? What happens to the space when we leave it does it a have a visitation memory, is something of us left behind whether physical, spiritual or simple energy signature? Who controls the space if the space is the platform in which we reside? It must be maintained just a matter is maintained? Is space made up of dimension, time, particles, waves, plasma or nothing as this temporary life would have us perceive?
If at any time this life may be taken from me and by signature or by absence of signature my stuff, in all of its dynamic mass and location, suddenly become the property of a designee, then am I not in fact simply borrowing and using the stuff for a period to time only to transfer that lease to another? If things are finite in life then my ownership by that temporary existence is also limited, timed, passing. What of the Love that I have received of God or Woman or Child? Does that emotion linger beyond my passing? So my memory, my kindness, my deeds the memory of my love transcends my mortal existence? I see now why it is more powerful than my things or my occupation of space over which I seem to have very limited say and control.
If the memory or the truth in impact of a soul’s passing are the Love, hate, kindness, derision, joy and upset that make up a person’s reputation and character are those things of our property that exceed our mortality, then why don’t we pursue them with the same lust that we possess the tangible marks of matter? Is it miscomprehension or is it a conscious effort to hold on to the temporary knowing that its fleeting measures of ownership makes it indeed more precious to someone thinking this life is the end? And do those tangible materials become less precious to a man confronting immortality in faith?
What of losing one’s life for God and Country? Is that a waste of this pursuit of temporary lease upon the things of life? Or since it is the greatest expression of love and sacrifice for the good of our countrymen and mankind does its value transcend the preciousness of matter? That is an unusual perspective that requires me to inquire of the richest man of Midas wealth that is approaching one hundred years on this planet. Does that person think themselves their lives more valuable than the man who died at early age having given his life for God or Nation? Doesn’t the simple lost opportunity to pour out love upon their family and neighbor further impact the treasure of such life?
If life matters then it is because of that value that we construct laws to protect it, encourage it and foster that vault of intangible measure of one’s precious existence. And if so then there can be no more snuffing of life before it takes shape or denial of life because the cost is impractical, for the greatest treasures of such and existence may be the love and kindness yet given or the hate yet expressed. What we are seeing now is a terrible misunderstanding of the value of life versus the pursuit of extended lease upon the things wrapped up in it. When will we awake and is that wakefulness improbable without an understanding of life’s value, temporary or eternal? Does Life Matter to You? Well Does It?
It matter to God so much so that He stepped into our dimension in the form of a man that He might personally intervene for You, to buy you back from eternal separation from Him because of the first sin you created. That is the pinnacle of a valued life having been given in Love for Every Man, Woman and unborn Child ever designated for passage through mortality. Life is the training ground that leads to immortality for all spirits last forever. The question in our valuation always comes down to the location that we reside throughout that mortality. Either With God or separated from Him Forever. This life’s value depends entirely upon what we think happens beyond it. For if this is the only thing we have we will live for the temporary extended lease program and if we embrace eternity then the things we do in this temporary form have much greater value than the things we have or the space we have occupied.
Jesus Loves you. You. I pray that you know what that truly means.
