Yes there are mysteries, but contentment is only found in what you have before you. In search of mysteries you will witness the spectacular but miss the wink of a child’s eye or the loving hand of your wife upon your own. Do not quest for the stars and forget the good Earth around you, the struggle is sometimes the most stupendous scene available. If you are hungry you will be fed, but if you are insatiable nothing may console you. The wondrous desire to see the ends of the world will leave you wondering why you hadn’t gone further into the unknown. The greatest gifts are right beside you and there in your heart.

The universe is endless and beyond that void with no end you find God waiting with explanation of things we currently are incapable. This road is the one we travel, not the skylines of Mars or the harsh winds of Jupiter, but the cold breeze of winter’s calling right now. What then is so boring about making this life the best that it can become? What is so tragic that being blessed with children to carry on interrupts some personal quest for consequence and self evolution? What is so magical outside the yard that disappears each time we go around the fence to inspect it?

There is a place that is right for a man and man that is right for that place. Those with that singular understanding of what must be sacrificed to find the new worlds are not discontent with this life but fated to find the pathways to the next. However, their price is astronomical, in the contentment of family, friends and consistency lost. It is much greater thing for a man or woman to build from the gifts given early in the game, that they might produce 10 fold or 100 fold return on that original investment. Not all men are made for seeding, many are designed to feed, weed and sustain in preparation for harvest. The task is in determining your rightful place in God’s design. Are you looking, Are you asking Him, Are you willing to accept the answer even if it isn’t what you hoped and dreamt about?

Being Comfortable is all about contentment with the Right Here, the Right Now and understanding that everything changes, including the raging heart of man’s desire to discover the reaches of this world.  With what persimmon look do you review your corner of the sky? Or do you look upon today and thank the Lord for everything, good, bad and difficult with Joyful expectation of God’s Knowledge? I love you and pray for you peace on this day of Thanksgiving that briefly reminds us of what we should be in daily contemplation, the Grace and Mercy of Almighty God upon us all. In Jesus’ Name may you be filled with Peace and Contentment throughout the year.
