If I speak evil of any man, am I supplanting God’s Rightful Position as Judge? God created them, God knows their hearts and if they are beyond redemption. If I make a judgment claiming them invaluable, unuseful, beyond redemption I am in direct conflict with the commands God has given me. How do we determine those who love God, well His Word says if you love me you will obey my commands. If I speak evil of other men, who are not my enemies but those spirits that drive them and the sin that captures them being turned over to their darkened, reprobate thinking, am I in danger of hating God?
I am to be pure. If I am cursing about this or that human is it pure water that is coming from my mouth or filthy water? I am to be Holy as He is Holy. If I am judging others as beyond redemption and traveling with people performing iniquities, am I Holy or even resembling the Righteous King who sent me? If people look upon my angry, impatient, unkind treatment or response to people’s poor behaviors, is he honored by my walk as a peculiar, transformed, new creature in Christ, determined to demonstrate His Glory to the World that awaits? Where do I draw the line in looking to my own behavior for answers to how I appear to the World? Do I judge myself or look in the mirror of God’s indicative Law, being forced into a repentance and humbly asking the Lord for belief. His Word washes over each of us. His Spirit transform, convicts, counsels, builds, edifies, prunes and grows each of through the process of sanctification. His Judgment has been assigned to the anointed Hand and decision of Christ Jesus alone.
Will you take from Jesus that which God gave only to the one who is Worthy beyond all Creation? Let us reflect and pull away from the world’s anger, deception and clever spiteful response. Be Holy, Set Apart, Go to God with petition to remove from yourself those markers, wounds and defects gained in this sinful world. Be Peculiar, It’s a wonderful place to be in a world of conformity. In Jesus’ Holy Name.
Beautifully written…Amen🙏🏼
