Has free speech gone the way of the horse plow, useful but seldom displayed as an effective method of readying the fields, too cumbersome and slow to make ready each row? Has sarcasm become the application ready field of expression that skirts the rules and entertains the fancies with potent question, yet dances deftly around the difficult topics for which one might be proclaimed “hate speaker”? Have we entered the day where truth must be embodied within carrier jargon and protected by lettuce wrap or cabbage to keep it warm and safe for eventual consumption? When did we lose the appetite to hear it like it is and the courage to enter on to the threshing floor of reasonable argument in the determination of an ideas qualities of efficacy and social acceptability?

Recently I determined to put out a book on the rules surrounding “safe speech”, those words will never get your thrown into jail, that may not pass political muster but are so vanilla that they hold no specific or underlying threat of imprisonment. The impact upon our free speech rights has become so drastic with the advent of super human artificial intelligence editors and analysts that now you don’t even get the chance to eat your words or retract them before the brown shirts are standing at your door demanding justice. Now it is more effective to change your dialect to one that reflects the “watering down” of America, specific words used with social charm to saw what you would like to say without really saying it.

No longer protected by the first amendment unless you are also accompanied by a well paid staff of “civil activists” not unlike those currently employed by those who have stolen God’s promise to Noah.  If you are well funded by European or worldly enterprise seeking to divide and destroy American culture and you have the legal teams and assembled bodies ready to picket any expression of decent caliber in truth, you shall prevail. Whilst the man on the street telling it like it is may find himself with three hots and a cot for expressing ideals that are too domestic for the foreign appetites of social engineers. Now you must be one of the paid members of the cadre employed by the counsel for this and the commission for that or the Group that meets in secret to talk about the legality of public expression in order to be protected by the first amendment. If you ain’t for the good old boys you ain’t gonna find the reality of your circumstances very appealing when they come and shut you down for telling your truth.

These are dangerous times for those who hold true to tradition and truly believe in the inalienable gifts from God within a nation that fought for these protections. It is no longer assured that if you have salient reason for a particular perspective that its expression will not get you fired, lose a love interest or worse. These are the days of the cautious objector, the closet courageous, the avatar or character actor intent on claiming it was merely comedic expression or a “satire piece” in order to maintain a state sans incarceration.  What does that sensibly portend for Christians? Go ahead, say it you know that it is truth and by any measure in today’s America the one group are readily allowed to hate without fear of reprisal are the Christians.

Men and women willing to remain in their faith and be faithful to the proclamation of God’s Holy Word meant for man will soon find themselves wearing much more than the traditional labels of intolerant, cynic or hypocrite. The days of persecution for even telling people God’s view are just around the bend awaiting those who are not prepared for the onslaught that faces expression by those faithful to Almighty God. Soon we will be in the midst of an all out battle against the Holy Word of God forcing most without backbone or escape to water down the word and find within it loopholes for tolerance to sin that the Lord proclaimed abomination. We are seeing even now the larger churches struggling for the inclusive language to avoid saying what God proclaimed sin in exchange for a broader explanation or vanilla understanding of a Holy And Righteous God who says that one small sin earns the judgment of “death”. We will be forced to take a position in our faith that is “luke warm” or even cold in order to escape the “heat” of public ostracism and acquittal.

If you have not readied your heart for your reaction to this movement then you best rapidly turn your heart toward preparation. For although I will put out the book on safe speech the moment that you venture into the public forum expressing the true, logical and everlasting Words of Almighty God without some manner of governor or sarcastic covering you shall be assailed or punished. This is the time for which we have been prepared in the Bible. This is the time of our testing. This is the time to either live free and tell the truth about your faith and withstand the consequence or cower and deny Christ. Which of us shall rise to the opportunity and withstand the pressures. If the Apostles of Jesus are any indication, then if you have not significantly prepared in prayer and heart adjustment then you will fail in the short term. Being successful in the long term is certainly the objective but don’t you wish that you could escape that eternal regret which must certainly accompany that luke warm denial of Christ given in the moment to save your mortal skin?

I do not know what shall befall America. I do not know why we shall fall pray to the coming One World Government that is peaking over the horizon upon us. What I do know is that we will. I would like to believe that the reason we do is because Christians, indwelt by God’s restraining Spirit must be removed in order for the son of perdition to arise and that single removal allows America to be overwhelmed by the remaining populace who crave globalization, but I do not truly know what occurs, just that it does occur. God’s Word is clear. We shall not prevail in the long term in keeping America from the grasp of this global empire. For whatever reason we do become part and parcel of its global dominion and unification. Therefore, since that is God’s Plan I believe that what we do leading up to that time is perhaps the most important set of steps or period of time in the life of each believer. Just as, the test of taking or not taking the mark will be for each person who holds to the faith after the rapture we are all being given the perfect opportunity to utilize our voices in the faithful proclamation of our belief in God. This ideally must be done in the face of overwhelming odds where doing so will certainly and may certainly cost us everything.

Since my free speech is the dividing line between my safety and my faith, then I must remain clear in my expression and understanding that I am going speak the Word of God always, in gentility, honesty and truth without shame until the day when God calls me home.  For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ for these are the Words of salvation for all mankind and if no one tells them then how will they hear? I and others have been sent to share that Word in its entirety, not with sarcasm or special care to protect ourselves or pamper the constitutions of sinners but to warn them from the wrath to come.  I fear God more than I fear man. God told us the persecution is coming. It would be utter foolishness for me to believe that I will escape those trials. I would rather prepare for them then hope they never happen.
