Wandering

Perchance may we take a wondering ramble down the unpaved streets of my not so intriguing thought process.  A – God could rid the universe of evil, dissolving sin and remaking the world, once again in perfect reflection of His image.  B – To do so would probably destroy all of us, since we have in us the seeds of evil intent that once germinated becomes full blown sin.  For those who don’t see themselves as evil please refer to Romans 3:23, where it is clearly established that there is not one of us righteous.  C – In destroying us the enemy would prevail by making God admit that his creation was fallible in that the enemy could institute the seeds of evil and man, being basically a failed creation would bring down the world themselves.  D – God Won this fight before it began, giving us the free will to make awful mistakes but also to make the choice of wanting Him over everything else utilizing that same gift of free will.  E – Heaven Bound.

However, that doesn’t explain why God needs us to share the Word of Truth.  Horrible realization of the awful truth is He doesn’t.  Needing and loving us are two entirely different things.  Remember He asked Job where he was when God created everything.  He set Job straight that God doesn’t need us it is the other way around, WE NEED HIM.  I would say desperately if it were the appropriate time, Oh wait it is the appropriate time, so DESPERATELY.  So, if He doesn’t need me what do I do with the idea that He has a purpose for my life?  Good Question.  I take a stab it though you will certainly have to go to God through the Holy Spirit to get anything other than my conjecture.  He Loves.  He Loves us so deeply that like any Good Father, He wants us to make good in life, but being that same Good Father, He knows that we will never do good without being given the choice to do wrong as well.  You see it is in the choice that we are made whole, our character achieved our battle’s won.  Without the choice there is no war.  Therefore, He knew everything the enemy would ever do, every thought, every act, every wicked act, yet He still created him.  Did you ever stop to wonder, why?

We are all necessary, the enemy’s prideful fall from heaven was necessary to allow the other angels to choose God, FREE WILL.  The enemy’s prideful act was instructive, that some men choose evil and many refrain, but all have been tainted by its poison intent.  A saviour was not just the gift, the saviour is a necessary gift, for there is no other way by which man might be cleansed of the seed of unrighteousness, except through a sacrifice.  In this case the sacrifice of someone, someone who chose to live a perfect life and give His life for the rest of us, that we might be cleansed, repair, redeemed and made whole.  That person was none other than God himself, stepping into the material plane, because of His Love for us.  We couldn’t save ourselves so He came and suffered the enemy’s chastisement, the best swing the enemy had in him, and God prevailed.  Jesus was that Saviour, that Sacrifice, That Man to save all humanity, through Free Will choice of God’s Will over his own.  Demonstrating to us that God didn’t need us but He sure did love us.

In Jesus’ Holy Name.
