He can’t be manufactured, certainly may be mimicked with significant flare and just won’t go away no matter how forceful the enemy or ridiculous the onslaught.  He completes, whispers, calls, demands, beckons and guides and gives beyond measure the necessary power, potency and words to silence Kings.  He seals, purchases, signifies, clarifies and rarefies the humble with a resolve to achieve the impossible.  He translates, separates, denies and imbues bodies with joy, peace and the power to overcome all enemies.  He shares, controls, counsels, convicts, defeats and restrains spirits to the high calling of Almighty God.  He hovers over the formless creation the power unrestrained, unrivaled, immeasurable, the beginning and the end of creation, forming and reforming through Directed Word to become or dissolve time and material forever.  He is shapeless exceeding the volume of space and all known boundary, for He is and was and always has and will be the Holy Spirit of Almighty God.

Have you met Him?  No, then you are not saved for without the Holy Spirit you cannot be born again to the everlasting.  He is the Spirit that fills, binds, signifies, sanctifies and protects.  He is the indwelling life of God with the form of every Christian and the only reason that the anti Christ may not yet show his face.  Don’t you think you ought to know Him, since you say you are Christian and have been born again by the baptism of the Holy Spirit?  What they don’t preach that at your Church, they better, because if He is outside knocking trying to get back then all inside are in desperate need of salvation.

Do you feel His wonderful convicting hand upon your life, guiding, counseling, rebuking and setting your vehicle straight on the rails?  You will know a man by his fruits, sound familiar?  What fruits?  The fruits of the Holy Spirit, you say.  And I am supposed to begin to reflect those aspects as evidence of my salvation?  Wow, that is something upon which I need to pray.  Good, because it is the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus that makes that prayer session possible.  So God doesn’t even hear me if I don’t have the Holy Spirit?  Sorry, did I come at a bad time?

Let’s read a bit about the Holy Spirit and His position and importance in the Life of every Believer.  Ephesians 1;13-14 In whom you also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise.  Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

And then again in the Words of Jesus; John 14:15-17  If you love me keep my commandments.  And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 

Then again in John 14:25-26 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Again I ask, Do you know Him?  According to Christ you should and if you don’t you are in the same boat as the world who cannot know Him because He doesn’t live in them.  See why Peter and John were so concerned to see the evidence of the Holy Spirit in new believers that they sprinted across town to lay hands on new believers and pray.  ACTS 8:14-18  Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)  They laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

So did you see it, without the Holy Ghost or Spirit as we say, you have only said a prayer, you have yet been sealed for eternity.  Please don’t let the money changers, false prophets or prosperity Gospel preachers goad you into saying a prayer, getting a pep rally and then never going through to the point where the Holy Spirit indwells you.  The Spirit is the indwelling Spirit of God, the Power to move mountains and the seal of each believer as the earnest of our inheritance.  If you don’t know the Holy Spirit isn’t it time you did?  If your Church doesn’t have the Holy Spirit as guide, comforter, counselor and God what do they have?  If you don’t have the indwelling power of God inside you then how do you expect to do anything in this world through Christ who strengthens you?
