About me, thinking of me, more of me, poor me, can’t you see me, homage to me, just plain me.  Jesus didn’t give me a new life, cleansed of all unrighteousness to serve my own needs.  Yes, those are taken care of according to his grace, provision, protection and abundance, according to his riches and glory.  However, I was set free to offer the message of freedom to others so that they might receive rest.  If I continue to focus upon my needs as the driving influence of my existence, I will undoubtedly never find the skinny path I was meant to traverse.

Jesus, is God, was God and will always be God.  I know you hate him, I know you hate me for even mentioning him, but none of your adoration or hate makes his sovereignty any less the truth.   You see, Bob over there has his ideas, you have yours and the crowd outside is filled with opinions, some match but most are divergent.  How can they all be true?  You suggest that they all run along the same continuum, in parallel, never meeting, never cancelling each other out, that is in direct conflict with reason.  One thing occupies one space at one time for we are not spanning dimensions and time.  Therefore there are governing principles, realities and a foundation truth that supports this reality into which we inject the diversity of our opinion.  My opinion does not change that reality, alter that reality or control that reality, it simply offers a perspective of reflection upon this reality.  God is the creator, the foundation, the rule maker, the judge, the life-giver.  His opinion forms, changes and sustains the reality in to which our variations are intertwined.   You hate him and me by relation because you want to be master of your own universe, the director of your own fate and do, eat, swindle, master, enslave or free whatever your emotions and thoughts tell you is consistent with your appetites.

Torturing a child cannot both be good and bad at the same time.  It is a thing that by its nature is pure evil.  How then do you reconcile two men with alternate opinions upon that subject?  They both cannot be right on this matter, they are mutually exclusive views of reality, therefore one is right and the other wrong.  If both claim to be morally superior and submit themselves as the origin of righteousness, what then becomes of public, moral construct?  The power of the masses would dictate to the weaker, what in fact is right and what is wrong.  Then we are at the mercy of the powerful, hoping upon nothing, since there is no eternal truth that those that have the authority do not believe that hurting children is okay.  We are left without mercy, held in the arms of chance and opportunistic reason.

Praise be to God that we did not have to subject ourselves simply to the whims, emotions and desires of the powerful.  For there is a sovereign Lord, who gave us the ten commandments to show us our sin, acting as mirror that we might see our behavior in God’s intended reflection.  But we mistook that mirror for something that would give us access to heaven, when in fact men are all sinners, none have never lied, never stolen, never disrespected their parents or God, but God himself in the form of a man named Jesus.  Religion is man’s attempt to earn his way to heaven.  God’s gift to man is access to heaven by belief and faith in his sacrifice upon the cross.  We continue to try to earn something which has been freely given with a qualification of belief and faith.  None are righteous, but God.  None can gain heaven but through God.  None may know him without a relationship with Jesus.  This sets the world of men afire with hatred for a God who would dare and have rules within his own creation.  God made man, not the other way around.

If I sound outrageous, you better hope that I am.  If I am right you better pray with all your might to the universe, rocks, idols and natural spirits that I am wrong.  Or perhaps you could listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit of God spoken in my words today and let your heart be touched by truth.  The truth of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and his soon return to judge, rule and reign for all eternity.  Silencing me will not constrain the truth, so you better look for a more robust solution.  Perhaps you can hide from him when he comes?  No that won’t work because the Bible says that men will hide themselves in the rocks, hoping that the mountains would fall on them to hide them from the wrath of the Lamb, and will find no such hiding place.  Their is no solace but surrender to Christ.  If you cannot find in yourself the will to surrender to the God of all universes then you are doomed to be judged, separated and suffer for all eternity.  If you find hope, reason and conviction in the truth, then turn to him and find rest, freedom and sanctification at the hands of our master.  For he loves you and offers grace to all who will hear what the spirit is proclaiming, even at this late hour of Christ’s soon return.  Be blessed, get saved, Christ Loves  You.  Amen.

How can I now be silenced when this is the example I have been directed to follow?  You wish me to control my conversations on God as they ignite the ever burning fuse you have sought to extinguish in your own soul.  Your battle is with the Almighty, but I will accept your anger as his ambassador and fully understand the lengths to which you must go in order to silence the Word of God in your heart.  I pray however, that his spirit’s voice never be quenched for you that you may still have time to make the eternal decision to which all are required.

I love you.  I neither have to agree nor disagree with you to love you.  Your position may be as solid as you presume it to be or it may be constructed upon loose soil, only time, challenge and obstacles will tell.  Let your path be your path, but there is a reason we have been brought together this day and I have no desire to avoid that purpose.  You may think it chance, in which case, you most likely forget our passing, choosing to wipe your memories clean of the impacts we have had upon each other.  You may wish to label me fool, so that you may justify yourself in memory that you have bested me at argument, so that you may free yourself of the truth or obligation of my words.  Or you may hear a quiet voice or reason and love bidding you reach out to the savior so that you may spend eternity at his side instead of weeping and gnashing of teeth in fire.  Whichever the choice, I will honor your right to deal with our meeting as you choose.

What then is next?  Can you silence every Christian?  Perhaps you wish to become like Saul in his persecution of Christ, seeking out all Christians and ridding the world of their abomination.  Or maybe you will simply walk away from each Christian paying careful mind to keep all of them outside your range of hearing and relationship, so that you never have to consider their position or argument.  Or maybe you will listen and take the time to understand their plea to you out of unconditional love for God, choosing to consume the information and act upon it in the positive or negative.  Whatever happens the choice again is yours.  As it is my choice to follow my God as He commands me to spread the Gospel Good News of Christ.  You see we both are at the same position, that of choice.  The only difference our masters.  Mine is God, guided by His Holy Spirit yours is perhaps your self or maybe some unknown worldly thing or god.  The choice still resides with each of us.  In Jesus’ Name I pray that you are touched by his Spirit such that you see the righteousness of my pleas and choose to know God through Christ.  Be well

It is alright to love with my whole heart, not a smidgen, a section or a portion but the entire energy of my being.  I know inherently that others will react to this unbridled sometimes with curiosity, others with doubt, some with recrimination and unbelief.  But still it will be offered.  I was asked today if my enemies came through the door there is no way that you would forgive them and let them go free of the crimes they have committed.

It surprised the asker, who truly believed to have set me up in front of a crowd when I said that I would forgive them of the wrongs they have done me and God would forgive them and cleanse them of their sins and unrighteousness if they believed upon the Lord Jesus, but that their crimes would still require punishment if they had broken man’s law.  You see they mistakenly believed false information about Christianity, that if you commit crimes God will just set you free of the consequences.  Understandably if that is what they believed about our faith I can see where it would seem odd that people would just be freed of all culpability and accountability for worldly action.

I had the blessing of being used to preach the Gospel to over 10,000 people this week.  It has been the greatest joy of my life as Christians cheered, fence sitters asked endless questions and the enemies of God answered with vitriol and grief. Many demanded I stop preaching or simply stop speaking the Word of God and use my own thoughts.  To which I answered, that God’s Word never returns void and is marvelous for teaching, preaching, rebuke, reproach and reminder.  Some simply demanded I shut up and I responded with a loving request for them to make their lives settled with God as judgment approaches.  I was used of God and that is the greatest gift I have received outside of God’s Grace, forgiveness and redemption.  To realize one’s purpose for God is the achievement of wholeness.  Today, I was given the chance to fulfill my duty as a Christian Ambassador or remain silent and I spoke until all that was appropriate to say had been said.

The time has come for action.  This country was formed differently than our predecessors whether in Europe, Asia or Africa, because we determined for the good of all that we would put aside our personal desires as secondary to the needs of the nation.  We came together in love, settled in our Christianity or other faith and even in disagreement “got the work done”.  We became a nation of doers, differentiating us from all other nations.  God Blessed our works and provided us enormous bounty from which to produce stupendous achievement.  At some point we forgot this factor allowing sedentary practices to replace our once great desire to achieve great objectives.  This effected Christians the most, for the work of our faith and love for God is always there awaiting our will to stand and preach, teach, heal, provide and love upon this lost world.  Although our faith is not based upon works we forgot that our worship is demonstrated by our works of love for God.

We were designed for many purposes but they all come back to the same life giving root, the Good News of Salvation through Christ.  If we cannot tell others of Christ then we have failed to attach ourselves to the power of the life giving vine of the Holy Spirit from whom we receive the power to pronounce the Gospel. If you are not telling people about Christ then you are simply disconnected, disobedient and unsure of your testimony.  This is some cause to fear, but it is better a warning sign to be instantly attended.  Find a mature Christian and ask some questions, get some help, learn to achieve the objective for which you were given access to power and authority.  If you aren’t going to use it, then you are a disobedient child and your one talent should be taken away and given to the one who wants to turn it into ten.  You know who you are, the time has come to do something about that knowledge and if you do not you alone hold the blame that you will certainly dread telling Christ.

God’s Plan for your lives is wonderful.  Don’t leave this plane having achieved less than the best for your life.  Find out what he wants for you and then stand ready for him to act, provide, fulfill, secure and deliver upon those promises for it will most certainly occur in due time.  Christ’s return is imminent, are you ready, look up, he’s almost here. Can you feel it.  We love you.  God loves you.  In Jesus’ name I pray for you right now.  Amen.

What do you do when you realize that the person  you are doesn’t match the story you’ve been telling?  The nature of things puts you smack dab in the middle of an enormous conflict.  Spilled milk always seeks the low point on the floor in which to pool or conforms to its container.  How then do you expect to surpass these natural laws and keep the parts of your real personality compartmentalized from the one you virtually maintain?

Christianity makes it impossible for believers to fit into the world.  Those God induced changes bring about a contempt for societal norms regarding the acceptance of sin.  The Holy Spirit continues to remind, rebuke, instruct regarding the complacence, acceptance or participation in the what God defines as unacceptable behavior.  This interaction causes either a conscious separation from the worldly or a chosen determination to those things over God.  Truth is you get changed and then you just can’t hang with worldly folks anymore, that is if you are serious about your relationship with God, ie..truly transformed by a renewing relationship with Christ.

I have found that the world no longer loves me, in fact their feelings have turned to contempt, exasperation or outright exclusion.  One cannot be in truthful relationship with Christ and have the same with the world, it just is not possible.  These two things are mutually exclusive, they will never mix, if you wear the shirt you will no longer be invited to the party.  So, don’t adorn yourself with Christianity if you don’t want to be changed, because it will change you.  I mean the Holy Spirit will change  you, you will truly become someone different then you used to be.  The Lord has transformed me into someone consistent with his Will for my life and that has made me unacceptable to society.  Sure they play nice to an extent but when they quiz me as they always do about the things of God and the Truth of God’s Word, they instantly realize that I am not like them nor can we ever be friends.  I love them, pray for them, but their rebellion against God cannot be overlooked.  Nor can they ever accept me for who I am.  We are separate, why?, because we were made to be that way.

My duty is to God and that requires I tell the truth to a population in desperate straights.  They are headed for a judgment and a sentencing that they do not fully understand.  My job is to tell them the thing that most definitely do not want to hear and the thing that they most desperately need to hear.  The greatest news they will ever receive is that of Christ’s redemption and God’s grace.  It is a joy to tell them, but in that delivery there is always conflict, and unfortunate sorrow upon the realization that many will not listen, no matter what, they will refuse to listen.  The choice is theirs to make.  I think many Christians do not wish to tell them because they know intrinsically that something will change and instantly the relationships they once counted as solid were never more then houses built on sand.

There is no savior complex on my part, merely the desire to show people the way to break free from the shackles I so comfortably accepted in my past existence.  I cannot free you of the guilt and shame of your sin, I cannot provide you the access to eternity, I cannot change, provide and correct your life, but I know who can.  There is a wonderful story to tell and it will lead to the greatest things in this life and the next.  I hope that you voluntarily wish to discuss, consider and choose Christ, but I am prepared for the alternative.  You see, most do not wish to hear, but tell them I must for this is true love, to offer each person a way to escape the pain of sin, shame, death and eternal separation from the God who created everything.
