We are standing at the end of the age of mediocrity. Aghast they say, “certainly man has made the grandest scientific advances in the last hundred years”, followed by, ” you cannot even begin to call this time anything less than spectacular.” I do not do this in jest or to provoke some argument, envy or attention. It is simply that what comes next for the race of man is beyond our comprehension as mortals. Only them who have accepted God’s Spirit have an inkling as to the enormity of what lie around the bend for our planet and its people. We are about to see the coming of the Lord and in advance of that great and Glorious Day, we shall see an untold number come to Christ in repentance and belief. Praise God that we have been chosen to be alive during this the most electrifying time of all the ages of men. We shall see devastation, and hunger, pestilence and regrettably war, but this all precedes the return of the Light, The Word, The Creator, The Lord. The songs of praise that will rise above the wreckage will restore even the crushed and broken spirit of those facing tribulation. Ah, I have tasted the Lord and His Word is Sweet, His mercies never ending, His Light Pure and Holy.
What do you say to millions being redeemed to God, saved from sin, cleansed to spend eternity in His presence? What do you think about His evangelists being protected from each and every evil seeking their harm so that they might spread the Gospel of Love to those in desperate need of salvation? What will you say when you see the harvest of souls bound for never ending life with God? There is no sadness that may deflate the joy associated with God’s plan for humanity. There is no sting left in death’s bite that may dampen the spirits of the redeemed. We are nearing trumpets call a time when pure evangelism will ring from sea to sea, over top every mountain across each prairie and river. The story of Jesus Christ will be told so that all might come to the knowledge of the Truth and be set free. One glimpse of God’s Coming Kingdom will remove even the most remarkable memory of man’s attempts at empire. We will be left in awe when we see that day. I pray mercy upon those who shall bear the brunt of its overwhelming finality and I rejoice in the knowledge that so many will once again turn their faces to God in forgiveness and salvation. Praise God in the Name of the Lord of Lords Jesus Christ the King.
