Still not listening.  Go on about your merriment, festivities, eating and drinking as in the time of Noah.  Make believe that nothing is wrong, take for granted that tomorrow you will have that same old job you’re not proud of, that the lights will come on with the flick of switch and that you won’t have to bargain or even battle for subsistence items.  Take for granted your ability to freely worship,without persecution the God you neglect.  Flee not from fear, but out of wisdom to the Sovereign protection of Almighty God through belief in Jesus, repentance and surrender.  Don’t sit around humming a song from your past hoping that everything will stay the same because if you haven’t realized, it has already changed.

If you truly believe in Jesus, then you should answer that call to your knees or that yearning to learn about The Word or that Spirit Filled Whisper to proclaim the Good New of Christ to everyone you know.  Don’t believe that this world has any place you can find shelter, comfort or rest, because as the Bible states, no one will escape the Wrath to Come but those who hide themselves in God through Christ.  Now is not the time to ponder, but the time to act on the mustard seed of faith you have been granted through the Grace of God.  Do not sit and hope that things will turn around or revert to some imaginary idyllic past because time is marching on toward a confrontation between God’s Righteous Will and the rebellious spirit of those who would serve sin.  Do not for a moment believe that you have a lengthy window by which to make up your mind, because sooner than you think that window will be shut and never reopen.

We keep searching or asking for that one individual who will make a common sense argument and stand up to the powers that be rescuing us from our just desserts.  That man will come and those who are blinded by his charm will follow him never fully comprehending that he is gifted to be the man of perdition, hero to a fallen world, searching for idyllic salvation.  Do not be blinded by this false doctrine of hope where none may be found, death will be sent in the guise of a peaceful thespian, but he will be more wretched then imagination.  Embrace an abundant life with the Lord Jesus, the Christ of God, who took away the sins of the world and redeemed us to a Holy God for eternity.  He is Hope Eternal, Righteousness, Truth, Wrath and Judgment.  Do not find yourself on the receiving end of His Fiery gaze or recipient of the Double Edged Sword coming from His Mouth.  Be on the side of Glory not against it.

My Brothers, prepare your hearts and then demonstrate your Love for God and your families by doing what must be done for the Kingdom of God, then leave the rest to Almighty.  This is His plan, He has told us what is soon to happen and what He expects of us.  Shall we now cower in fear when He told us to be of good courage and know that He is God?  Shall we find our own plan of rescue from the wrath to come, searching in folly for something that will never exist and worse yet condemn each of us to tragedy beyond reason?  Shall we bundle up and run?  If that, where too, when even the mountains shall fall upon those hiding from the Lamb of God and His wrath.  Come to Jesus and find Peace and Rest.  He is the only shelter in the coming storm.  Do not be afraid, be wise and cry out to God for mercy, shelter and protection for those whom you love.  Repent of inaction, pride and fear and find relief in the Peace of God.  Be ready, be vigilant, be with God in the Holy name of Jesus Christ the King.
