Because you weary of the fight is not convincing reason to give in to temptation.  Watch as the media and those who have been turned over to their decadent minds, as promised in Romans 1, preach that capitulation, blending, tolerance and “live and let live” philosophy is the only way to national unity and freedom.  This is an abject falsehood.  Having a solid moral compass derived from obedience to God’s Word leads to right living and the eventual benefits and observation of God’s Blessings.  This seemingly overwhelming tide threatening to consume all before it is a sham as it spreads festering wounds throughout humanity.   Sin never was and never shall be the answer to man’s dilemma.  My advice is turn to God or else this world will twist and eventually consume you.  In God you will find the courage, strength, wisdom and shelter to withstand this onslaught of humanity.

Is it going to become increasingly more difficult to live a Godly life as this world turns its face to darkness?  Absolutely.  But this is also promised as the reward for the Overcomer in the Bible.  We are to hold on until the end.  If anything we should derive joy from the apparent rapid disintegration of a quest for holiness throughout mankind, for this signals the imminent return of Christ Jesus for judgment and rule.  HOLD ON, to that which you know to be true.  To the penalty of death is a hard statement to swallow.  But think for a moment on this, death comes to everyone, whether you fear it or not it will eventually call your name.  You can either face it without fear, in joy at the prospect of spending eternity with God and those whom you love or you can give in to this worldly life’s reign over your spirit and try to get every ounce of pleasure from this life arriving at the moment of your death in the knowledge that it truly is the end.  In my view, a short life spent in absolute sensory fulfillment, that eventually leads to separation from God for eternity, is no life at all.  We must be willing to comprehend the difference between short-term gratification of happiness versus the Eternal Joy of God.

The sirens of this world call insistently beckoning each believer to throw down the armor of God and embrace the wicked traits of humankind.  Whether you rely on historical argument or prophetic prediction, remember that sin’s lifespan is limited, and that Glory and Grace shall reign for ever and ever.  Seek and love God with all your heart, mind, spirit and strength keeping all that is holy forever set in your consciousness and the wicked things of this world shall wash away from memory.  Then you may lead others to the Cross where they too will have an audience with Christ Jesus and be given the choice of life eternal.  Do not lose heart, be of good courage, continue the fight and know that the Lord is your God.  Come soon Lord and please find us doing the work that you prepared for us to do.
