The loudest voices are those desperately attempting to convince themselves and those around them that the signs, symbols, circumstances and indicators don’t mean what they clearly project. Everyone is crying out complaining, bemoaning the economy, politics, moral or chaotic global backdrop, but they completely deny that this has anything to do with the world’s approaching appointment with God’s imminent judgment. Sure they will buy each “best selling” pastor or rabbi’s book cataloging the intrigue, phenomena and mysticism, but then they immediately dispute what they’ve heard by not crying out to God for forgiveness, succor and shelter from the storm these tomes predict. How odd this reluctance to wisdom.
True Christians should be clearly being called to dedication, devotion and persistent prayer. If any Christian is not receiving these promptings then they perhaps have quenched the Holy Spirit’s Voice and should repent, surrender and pray to hear the small, quiet voice of God giving direction in preparedness for the paramount preceedings to Glory’s Return. The triumphant appearing of the Lord Jesus is not far off. Don’t ask me when it will happen because none of us knows and if anyone says that they do you label them heretic and run for the shelter of Almighty God. This I do know the signs are inescapable, the seasonal change is clearly, upon us. Denial is the fool’s armor, providing no protection and even less comfort.
There will be no savior but Christ. There will be a man who claims to be Messiah, using slight of hand, magic and a promised peace through worldly wealth as his mantra to draw in the masses. Those in denial about Christ will be waiting for this man of perdition, hoping to preserve all the treasures of this world for their own edification. Christians will do the opposite, secure in their knowledge that this world already has been overcome and that no man can rescue us from the tribulation, war and pestilence promised humanity. God alone has provided escape through repentance, surrender and belief in the Work of the Lord on that rugged Cross. There is no life in the denial of Christ only eternal separation from God. There is no truth but what each man knows about the absolute Sovereignty of Almighty God. There is no escaping judgment except through belief in Jesus. The crisis of denial, deception and misdirection is upon us. Pray to Almighty God that we be kept safe from the potency of the powerful propaganda pushed upon us. Jesus is Lord of Lords for ever and ever Amen.
