It does not matter whose fault it is that we have arrived to this present circumstance. It is irrelevant, the obstacles, proponents or objectors to this or that philosophy. What matters is that the rule of Constitutional Democracy is re-established in this Nation. Our greatest failure is that we declined to remember the warnings of our first President, the honorable George Washington and have gotten away from the Good Word of God as our Moral Compass. A man does not have to believe in God in order to believe in the principles on which this nation was founded and prospered. A man must commit to the ideal by which those principles guide us down a road of common care, support and selflessness in order for this nation to return to “greatness”. Just as De Tocqueville warned, we have ceased being good and thus we have ceased being great.
We cannot continue to travel a path that ignores our blessings from God as “one” of the possibilities for our prosperity. I get it that many of my fellow citizens wish to free themselves from the obligation placed upon humankind by God’s Word of choice and judgment. I understand that the evolutionists must justify their philosophy by denying the existence of God and forcing that denial upon the rest of humanity. To them if there is any other explanation for the creation of man other than shear chance it means that they will inevitably have to admit that God is in charge and that we are all going to have to face that final judgment in the eyes of a righteous God. That is an end that most of humanity fears like the plague. However their denial of God as “one” possibility for our national blessings has produced a spectrum of negative results that we can no longer ignore. The consequences of getting away from God’s Law as a mirror to guide our national identity and behavior has produced a population of entitled, self-righteous, apathetic citizens who operate by self-rules and ethical moralities that do nothing to protect the common good. A man may live free until in exercising his freedom he brings harm upon the nation to which he owes that freedom.
We must have a solid foundation and national ideal by which we temper and accept the differing opinions, beliefs and philosophies of our fellow citizens. That set of principles is the “The Ten Commandments” given to Moses by God by which all humanity may judge their own actions to find a consistent framework by which to live a “good” life. My personal belief that God should be praised and obeyed as He is the only God is not relevant to our national discussion. Men are free in this nation to make their own choices upon which to believe, however they are not free to follow their own designed set of moral principles if those principles are detrimental to the continued well-being of this once great nation. There is no other set of principles by which a nation may guide them that produces the greatest good, camaraderie and unity then the Ten Commandments. It is just plain “smart” to follow them as our compass. The detriment and folly of following other lamp posts has been proven. The time of experiment has ended. We must return to what worked for us in the beginning.
Stop the assault upon the Constitution. Stop the assault upon the character of God and goodness and righteousness of His Word as a beacon for those seeking a good life. We have strayed from the principles that brought this nation global prosperity. This President, the members of the Legislature and the Judiciary cannot consider themselves above the Will of the People to do so will foster our current decline and foster our eventual national implosion or destruction. Please recognize the signs, warnings and mounting consequences of our inaction and continued folly. Return “common sense” to its position of authority and allow once again our children to be taught the righteous principles of God as one possibility of their creation. To deny them the teaching to which we owe our prosperity is to guarantee the incompleteness of their problem solving capacity and critical thinking. We must know the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth in order to make continued good judgment. Deprive our children no longer of the entire story, so that they may make rational judgments and choices to include choosing to follow the wisdom of God’s Law. Let them know the entire history of the nation built upon the ideals of freedom that came from a belief in the endowments to all men granted by their Creator.
