Does the average Christian know what these prophecies mean.  It brings me suffering to know in my heart that most of my Brothers and Sisters do not even know the peoples and geographies to which these Prophecies regard.  God does not forget the sins against His people.  It may seem that His enemies have somehow escaped retribution for acts in the past present and those to come, but the Lord demonstrates His lasting patience even now.  The day of judgment nears where everyone will receive the harvest of what has been sown in their lives.  The Lords enemies have been told what will occur and believe they shutter at the even the mention of the His Mighty Name.  That Name, that Glorious Name means more than any of us will know in this lifetime.  He is the one who holds the keys to Death and to Hades.  He is the one worthy to open the seals of judgment upon the Earth and the Heavens.  He alone will execute retribution for the atrocities perpetrated upon His children.  These Prophecies are meant to bring us faith, faith in a God who tells what is to come before it happens so that we may prepare and also know that He is God.

Let us for a moment reflect upon the meaning of these prophecies.  Ammon and Moab were born to Lot through his daughters.  They are ancient Kingdoms both roughly located within the boundaries of modern day Jordan, east of the Dead Sea.  The Ammonites and Moabites would not allow the Israelites to pass safely through their land during the Exodus and became consistent antagonists of Judah and Israel through the centuries to follow.  To these Lands now inhabited by the Philistines, Edomites, Arabs, Jordanians, Syrians, Lebanese and Egyptians the Lord states clearly that they will be dealt with according to their dealings with the Nation of Israel.  According to the Word in the Book of Ezekiel, they will know following God’s actions that He is the Lord, the Great I Am.

Praise be to God that He is unwavering, for this is the same reliance every Christian must carry when confronted with salvation.  We are saved simply for our belief in His Judgment, Promise, Redemption, Mercy and Grace.  Just as Abraham was counted righteous by his belief, we are righteous solely by the blood of the Lamb in which we store our faith.  I do now wish to see anyone judged, but the Lord is Righteous, Just and True and must carry out the judgment which He promised beforehand shall imminently come to pass.  I cannot love what the Father hates, and the sins against His people will incur His Righteous Wrath.  That we can be sure of and as Christians we should these Prophecies as written in Ezekiel, Isaiah and many other books of the Prophets of God.  Thank You Lord for Your Mighty Word.  Please give us a hunger to store it within our hearts.  Praise King Jesus.
