Straight scoop

There are those who continue to argue that a Biblical view of coming revelation, disaster and judgment is somehow a defeatist’s hope.  Notwithstanding, that I cannot be swayed from the absolute adherence to Biblical truth surrounding past, current and future events, I am nonetheless a rational person and will for a moment discuss the realistic evidences which some may believe possibly refute Biblical perfection.

In order to formulate a clear understanding of worldly affairs, let us look upon the current measures of conflict, economy, global-environmental, human health and energy.  Regardless of desired outcome, we are forced to analyze these indicators to agree upon our current global status and subsequently philosophize about where we, perhaps, may find ourselves in the not too distant future.

Conflict; en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ongoing_conflicts

Taking a look at the skirmishes, battles and ongoing conflict, globally we as humans are forced to admit that we are not a peaceful race.  Reviewing the unresolved, ideological contests that continue to fuel fatalities we see that forgiveness is in short supply in this past generation.  We have settled in to an accepted warring status where the battles never end they merely flare up whenever the mood, economic influences, events or circumstances permit.  What rational man can look at these numbers and somehow see any evidence of man “evolving” toward any type of enlightening moment, where we will peacefully collaborate to find our way out of our collective morass?  It is additionally alarming that over 90% of these conflicts are religious in nature, between Muslim, Christian and Jewish populations, a fact alone which points to the correctness of Biblical Prophecy.  With regard to armed conflict, things are getting worse, not better, as we stand on the brink of a catastrophic Middle Eastern War that will eclipse the devastation of any other World War event.

Economy; As never before, the economies of each nation are tied together in a unified, global symbiotic dependence.  http://www.gti.org/Publications/IBR-global-overview-2012.asp

Analysis of the current trends of crippling inflation, productivity, taxation, debt and decreasing national GDP, the overwhelming truth is that we are now all in the same leaking boat, with limited resources and no sight of land.  In addition to the depressing state of global economic indicators we now have a world population near seven billion people.  This number is staggering, considering the severe pressure to provide food, medical care and financial support for all of humanity.  Simply put, even if we were standing on a solid, global commitment to humanitarian relief, which we are not,a time is rapidly approaching when there will not be enough assets to meet the need.  In support of these data we must look upon the international news agencies unwillingness to tell the truth about our dilemma.  This inability to receive honest reporting, leaves the common citizen with a nagging distrust that we are headed for disaster and they don’t want to tell us as they fear panic worse than the potential crisis itself.  Again, the story is not pretty, the economy is in disarray, preparing the ground for the entry of the anti-Christ to present himself as messiah for a desperate world.  And who here doubts that this desperate world would worship him as such when he provides catharsis for the masses.  his allure will be the true opiate of which unbelievers so readily accuse our Creator.

Global Environmental conditionshttp://www.yale.edu/gegdialogue/foundations_currentstate.htm

The most entirely ironic evaluation of our potential to solve the world’s current decaying global environmental problems is that the people who are pushing evolutionary naturalistic solutionism are the very  same people decrying our inevitable and unavoidable global disaster.  When researching topics like nuclear decommissioning, heavy metals in the water table, global warming, rising seas, carbon poisoning and agricultural soil damage you will find scientists from the left painting a dire picture of our future earth.  Yet these same researchers continue to hold to the naive philosophy that somehow we will come to a collective understanding of our errant behavior and suddenly be compelled to collaborate toward a utopian age.  The picture is dire, the population growing, the ultra-selfish desire to consume everything in sight and our inability to get the truth without political spin or pension makes this a particularly confounding subject.  Humans have damaged this planet.  It is therefore particularly asinine to believe that we will be the solution to our own short-sightedness.  The only way we will protect this planet is if in the process of our blind pursuits we are brought nearly to the brink of destruction and are thus forced to capitulate and cry out to God for mercy.  There is no other solution to these monumental problems other than trust, faith and hope in God’s ability to overcome these disastrous circumstances we’ve created.

Human health; https://sites.google.com/a/globemed.org/inside-globemed-org/Home/globalhealthu/introduction-to-global-health/the-current-state-of-global-health

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-17628172   Again the state of health can drastically improve globally but we are precluded by our committed to selfishness and continuing resistance to standard forms of treatment.

The last one hundred years and the advent of new strides in medical technology have significantly increased the average life span, even in some third-world environments.  However this increase in longevity has itself created numerous unintended consequences and impacts upon an already burdened global health collective.  People although living longer are having a rash of cancers, heart disease, Alzheimer’s and economic difficulties associated with living longer when people can no longer care for themselves.  Couple this again with our under-girding desire to focus on our individual need and you have a recipe for neglected elderly.  Again man’s inhumanity to man and our unstoppable pursuit of self-actualization prohibit us from reaching any kind of dignified human health solution.  Clean water is increasingly scarce, sufficient agriculture to provide for balanced diet for every man, woman and child and the excuses of economic difficulties vilify those new-ager’s seeking a global population culling.  These are the same people who want abortion on demand, assisted suicide and masterfully use class warfare to defer true concentration on the world’s desire to solve our joint problems.  We will not feed the starving though there is enough food, we will not care for the orphaned as they are a burden on our dreams and we neglect the diseased poor and elderly wishing that they would just go away and no longer bother us with their dilemma.  Our hearts have grown cold to one another which is an alarmingly potent affirmation of Biblical Prophetic perfection.

Global energy;  This is the least defensible area when trying to provide a rosy picture of man’s future.  We are rapidly exhausting our fossil fuels which is a great thing for the environment but will sponsor the global wars soon to come.  Our only sustainable choice is nuclear technology which is itself a march toward Pandora’s outcome.  We are too late in pursuing green technologies and will never really commit ourselves to such pursuits as it will force the rich to give up their sport utility vehicles and lavish “cribs”.  Again we are faced with an overwhelming evidentiary review pointing toward our inability to turn course and solve the world’s issues.  There is no reasonable energy solution currently being addressed or presented.  Point of fact, is we have no solution and in the absence of such, those who refuse to accept the truth of God continue to argue about the cause with no answers in sight.

The only answer is to rely upon God, He provides the only solution to our unavoidable end.  Look, if there were any evidence that things are getting better than I would accommodate such argument, but alas there is none.  Although, this idea of believing and not seeing does coincide with Biblical teaching that “faith is belief in things not yet seen”, there remains no foundation for such a faith in man’s ability to overcome our own nature.  There is however, consistent, historical evidence for the existence of and the subsequent reliance upon a God who will never leave us, forsake us or allow us to continue in our collective penchant for destruction.

The Lord will set things right and provide for us a solid, healthy, economically and ecologically sound foundation on which to build our communities of the future.  The nearness of God’s coming is imminent, evident and necessary.  If you wish further proof, look to the increased number and severity of global disasters, pestilence, disease and war.  Better yet, look to the Bible and run from God’s Wrath to Come.  Run to the Lord our only shelter, sustenance, protection and salvation.  Praise God in Jesus’ Holy Name, Amen.
